We have Sunday lunch there now every Sunday, the food is out of this world. It is all local produce, and the Pork is delicious and my husband has half a chicken, it is huge, very freshly cooked vegetables. The staff are friendly, polite and make you feel very welcome. As we all walk a dog on a Sat and Sun we go in... More

Food of generous portions and well cooked. Although my bedroom was a little cold it was comfortably furnished with a nice modern bathroom. Open fireplace in the snug gave a lovely cosy atmosphere. Views amazing. Well situated for visits to Bath and Corsham.

A very friendly restaurant with some interesting dishes. The wines were adequate as we were not expecting great things. We opted for roast as this was the cheapest least amount of fuss. The service was attentive and we were given whatever we asked for..The decor was fine but the nicest place was to sit outside with our coffee seeming close to... More

We have been visiting this lovely country pub for three years now. We first stayed there as a base for house hunting in the "East of Bath" area. Well - it worked as we now live in the village. QA is a great location - with lovely views from the restaurant / bar across the valley to Colerne. They have... More

The Quarrymans has always been a good pub, but over the last few months the food has gone from good to mediocre to, on occasion, dreadful. Criticism to the otherwise lovely staff generates an apology but that's it - no recompense or improvement , such a shame.

We have had a family meal here twice now. The staff are amazing, so cheerful and helpful. I sent the menu bookings ahead and they had everything sorted when we got there. even made chicken nuggets for the youngest. The food was exceptional with a great choice and the desserts are to die for. Thank you for a great day.... More

So had a meal here with 2 colleagues. 1 of them had steak as did I, both (sirloin, medium-rare, £18) were so tough they could have been used as weapons. We were asked how the food was and told them but they didn't do anything about it. That said our other colleague insisted his home cooked Lasagne was excellent and... More

Came here a couple of weeks ago for a catch up meal with a friend. The pub was fairly busy for a mid-week evening (always a good sign if you ask me), and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. We were served very quickly at the bar, and shown to our table almost immediately. Our food came out... More

Visited last Saturday day whilst staying at a local hotel. The greeting was warm and friendly as was the pub itself. The beer was great, we had "stairway to heaven" a 5% pale ale, lovely. The food was home-cooked, tasty, and plentiful. Great value, a real "hidden gem" The staff were very attentive and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Excellent food and good selection of hand pumped beers. Welcomes walkers and hikers.A bit off the track but well worth the effort.
