the staff are really helpful especially the vivacious Tess . Could have a better selection of first course but all fine. Main roast is good but could be better with better cuts of beef, thinly sliced veg varied and well cooked. lovely South facing terrace...with views of Park land.More

This is a wonderful pub hidden on a back lane. It has a husband and wife team running it and you can tell it's their pub from the attentive service and welcome. The tables were well spaced the Doombar bitter was perfect. We then had...a burger and chips and a pig belly with mash. Both were delicious and all the better for being clearly home cooked and freshly made. When the cook came out to check everything was ok we had nothing but good things to say, from the perfectly cooked traditional chips to the pork crackling. The portions are enormous though so we didn't have room for a dessert. We're glad to see things getting back to something approaching normal after the lockdown and we'll definitely go again.More

My wife and I were out walking the dog and we were on our way back to our accommodation when we were passed the Union Inn. We decided to go in for a beer as it is another of the dog friendly pubs we have...discovered in the Windsor Area. My Wife looked at the menu whilst the beer was getting pulled.,made choices for both of us . The Sandwiches were large and tasty, with the biggest homemade chips I have ever seen.More

We were very disappointed by this B&B which has self rated itself at 4 stars. Cleanliness was poor as was the state of repair. We decided not to have breakfast on both mornings as the bar area where it was served had not been cleaned...from the night before. Lots of other failings which included no bedside reading lights, window blind fitted wrong way round and no daily room cleaning. My advice is avoid.More

Popped in for a quick lunch with a friend. Had not been in this place for 38 years so was interested to take a look see. I had my stag night party here in April 1981 when Peter Osgood & Ian Hutchinson of Chelsea fame...owned & ran it. I liked it then and was not disappointed this many years later - except that Hutch & Os are no longer there!More

The Union Inn has a very good clientele, consisting of local villagers and passing trade. The landlords are friendly and welcoming.

As I was staying here, we decided to eat here as well. turned out to be a good choice as the food was surprisingly good. The pork chop was generous, though I could have done with a few more prawns for starters. The 5 mini...desserts was a novelty and very good. Good selection of lagers but limited on the choice of bitter. Very friendly and efficient staffMore
