In all my travels across south East Asian and the Pacific Ocean I've in countered many different types of multi cultural foods. Yet the brickies can always produce world class food every time. As a world traveled flavour enthusiast I feel strongly that the constant...More

Friendly village pub with a great mix of locals giving a 'buzz' of chatter as you arrive. (Dogs and children welcomed). Sofas, tables and decor work well to compliment the very welcoming service. Menu is different from the normal 'tied' pub: well presented, excellent service...More

A bit bland inside this pub, but the food more than made up for it ! Delicious meals, and if you ask for coffee, you get a lovely little cube of homemade chocolate.....yum !

This is a good pub with varied menu choices. It seemed a bit lacking in atmosphere - there are a lot of very big tables so good for groups but wouldn't recommend for a couples cosy evening.

imaginative innovative menu - I had duck hoisin noodles which tasted delicious. Equally the Sunday roasts here are second to none. Topped with friendly and good service in a relaxed atmosphere.

A sandwich is a simple dish, made appealing by imaginative fillings. The main ingredient, though, for a top sandwich is good, wholesome fresh bread and this was sadly lacking. It promised well...multigrain or white bloomer but it was fit for toasting only. Maybe it was...More

Hi Andrew, firstly let me apologise profusely about this huge mistake on our part. We are looking into why this sandwich was sent out to you on stale bread. We presume it must have been the end of the loaf but it should not have...More

This is a local pub with a great menu for what I believe all tastes. In fact after eating tonight I changed my mind twice on the main dish !! In the end we stuck with 5 bean nachos to share as a starter (best...More

Hi! Many thanks for your fantastic review. It's so good if you to take time to do it. Glad you loved the food - the secret in the nachos is layering the cheese and melting it throughout the nacho chips! Thanks again, Koren 😊

We are a family run Free house in the lovely village of Swanmore. Our cosy pub has a great beer garden and open fire. We welcome dogs in our bar - where you can eat and drink - the restaurant is for humans only! All our food is freshly prepared from scratch using free range meat, eggs and organic milk. We have a lunch menu, a la carte evening menu, children's menu, over 60s special menu at lunchtimes, and Sunday roast and lunch menu. We serve a great range of local ales and extensive wine list. We also do functions, wakes, and the outside catering.
