Book early and ask for a table by the railings for a fantastic view across the Tuscan hills. There are two sittings in the height of the season at 7pm and 9pm. Go got the 7pm if you want the best of the sunset although the terrace doesn't face the right direction for the full sunset experience. The food choice... More

There was a group of 23 of us visiting San Gim. I booked this early as it is always busy. We arrived to a beautiful table and had the most amazing evening. The food was excellent and was paired with brilliant service and lovely wine. This is my third visit and will not be my last.

This is a delightful restaurant, serving excellent foods. The soups and wild boar were divine. Also enjoyed the pasta. Price was a good return on value. Enjoyed the views especially.

We went to this restaurant twice whilst staying in Tuscany. The terrace is small but well thought out. Staff are friendly and efficient with a good knowledge of the menu and wines. The bruschetta with the local lard is delicious. The pannacotta with caramel is to die for. You will have to book early if you want a seat at... More

Very nice restaurant. Very nice view from the terrace to the Tuscany's hills. It is advisable to book the table on the terrace in advance.

Enjoyed the splendid views and the sumptuous dinner. Try to get here by 6 to enjoy sunset. Reserve a spot in advance to ensure you get a spot on the terrace.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local winery. The setting is beautiful -- gorgeous views of the countryside over San Gmignano's walls. The food was good; some of the better food we had in Tuscany - menu offered the same food we saw throughout Tuscany. I would return for the setting (sitting outside). This restaurant was a challenge... More

This was a lovely find in the very busy town with lots of tourist restaurants to choose from. We wanted a place that was different to the rest and we found it. We were not able to eat outside as it was fully booked up but would recommend booking in advance to make the most of the outside terrace as... More

A lovely place to eat - make sure you reserve in advance as it's difficult to get a table on the night after 7pm (especially if you want to eat outside). And make sure you do eat outside, the view is brilliant. All the other reviewers are spot on with the comments regarding the food, it really is brilliant. Yes,... More
