We went here just for a change from the regular Sicilian food. We were disappointed. The starters, wine and service were just ok the mains were poor standard Tex/Mex

It was very good experience. Portions are big and inexpensive. Paella is tasty and 450gramm steak was just great. Nice tapas. Sangria was so and so - as for me - too much fruits and juice in wine. Staff is very friendly but service is a bit slow - there are many tables to serve.

As a family of four we found this place tucked away down a side street and we really enjoyed a long leisurely meal here. Staff were most helpful as we struggled with identifying some of the items on the menu. The food was all delicious and portions generous. We ordered Sangrìa and as we could not choose between the red... More

We've had a meal there several times and always ordered the same thing, fajitas and a filled wrap. Surprisingly no dish was ever the same twice, almost as though they thought "hey, here's some sweet corn/cooked beef/potato wedges so let's use that". I did complain when the sour cream was served hot after having sent it back as was frozen...... More

We've come to this tex-mex place with high hopes for a nice non-fishy dinner. Service was fabulous - a very professional waiter was a good help in choosing the menu. Starters - Iberican tapas were a really tasty selection of meats and cheeses. However, the Argentinian steaks were such bad that one was completely uneatable (just fat and ligaments) and... More

Four of us visited this restaurant early before the crowds turned up. We had an enjoyable meal with drinks and it was a nice change. The service was good initially but once it got busy, food and drinks took a little bit longer to appear. Probably worth a 3.5 rather than 4

We enjoyed our visits to La Cantinita. It is worth going early as it gets very busy. The food is very good and they serve large portions and large glasses of wine. The paella is good and the steaks excellent. If you would like a change from the fabulous fish restaurants in Marina it is worth a visit.
