Arrived crispy, fatty, and juicy, in appropriate packaging, ready to eat. Considerate packaging, sauce on the side, a honest steal. There will always be snobs, as for me, I don't need to go back to Beijing :)

After being told how good this place was especially by my sister in law I tried it today for lunch. The place is allegedly famous for its roast duck, roast pork and bbq pork. I ordered the half bbq and half roast pork with rice....It arrived fairly quickly and this first thing I noticed was portion size or lack thereof compared to other Chinese bbq restaurants. The bbq pork was ok, I could see they put it in the microwave to warm it, which made it a little tough. It was tasty enough but not a standout. The I tried the roast pork which I normally love and in my first bite it on some bone!!! Nearly broke a tooth! I have never in many years had bones in the bbq pork. They even used a cleaver, so there was shattered bone everywhere. Again it tasted alright despite the bone fragments but nothing special. The I went to pay, and being 2021 and with Covid19, I never pay with cash and paid with my card, the bill was $15 and then I was asked if I had cash and I said no, so I was told as I was spending less than $20 I must pay a 20c premium! I know it’s not much but it’s the principle. Food is extremely average, service is extremely Chinese, so I do not recommend this place at all.More

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants and I have been there probably 100 plus times over the many years since it opened. I have introduced many family and friends to this restaurant and all have agreed that the quality and service have crashed....I ordered a special fried rice , when I arrived home it was rice with shredded duck that looked old and offcuts for the bin , I hate duck. There was no prawns or pork in the rice , very bad taste, and I was charged the full price instead of the special 50% off price which just tipped me over the edge as they know exactly what to charge . A family member ordered wontons a while ago only to arrive home for dinner and find the wontons had no filling? If you complain they don’t care at all. So after many years and thousands of dollars in patronage both private and business visits I will not return to the store at Vic Park and neither will my family and friends who have had similar bad experiences. 👎👎👎👎More

I visit Perth regularly and usually always make time to enjoy a meal from this restaurant. Unfortunately on my last few visits to collect pre-ordered takeaway, the place has been a total shambles with no social distancing or COVID-19 awareness whatsoever and really shoddy service....Walk-in and pre-booked sit-down customers, people paying for sit down meals and people ordering/picking up takeaway all cram into a small area near the til/service area and there is no control or order to service at all. On this last visit, despite arriving at the allocated time to collect our takeaway, five takeaway orders and three sit-down customers were served before me. By the time I received our meal, which had been sitting on the counter for the entire 20 minutes I waited to be served, it was stone cold (as it was the last time I visited). The duck was dry and the skin was chewy and the boneless chicken was oily and bland. With so many dining alternatives in the area, I hope that this restaurant can arrest this massive decline before it is too late.More

Very disappointed. Having been before and were very happy but this time let down. The crispy chicken skin was soggy and the flounder not up to standard. Sad to see no social distancing the tables were jammed together with customers less than a foot away...from each other.More

I have been a regular customer at both restaurants for 5 plus years and it’s decline is now all too obvious. Today I bought a takeaway Special fried rice which was terrible, no crispy or bbq pork at all zero and 3 prawns but had...which look like off cuts of leftover roast duck which was unpalatable both in taste and appearance, and I realized too late I was charged the full price of $12.00 instead of the lunch special price of $7.00 which was the last straw. Guys I love your food but not what’s been happening for a while now at both locations. Today’s meal was a shocker. Please bring back the standard that you are famous for.More

This restaurant has the best Duck you will ever taste, it is not overcooked or dry. Parking is easy in the street or behind the supermarket.

Went for a birthday dinner and the food and service are just amazing! It is pretty loud, however it is still possible to have a decent conversation... Food is fresh, well priced and there is plenty of parking around. It's BYO.

Close by to our home but not tried before. The menu choice is fabulous. Bit of a duck fan and were not disappointed. Vegetable dish together with king prawns with snow peas. Generous serving and was a fabulous night to see my birthday out. Will...definitely be back. Had not booked but was not a long wait for a table. Very accomodating.More

If you’re a duck lover the. This will be home for you! 1/2 is never enough! Fresh veg and a bowl of rice! Perfect! But don’t expect to sit down straight away when you arrive in peak time.. always busy!
