Very traditional unspoilt English pub in a beautiful village surrounded by picture postcard views. Low ceilings, Flagstone floors, good food at fair prices, and Great beer. What more could you want!!

Popped in for a drink on the first night, loved the atmosphere so went back the following night for a meal. Called in for a drink and had a Carlsberg lager, it came with a 5cm froth on top, it was very pale in colour and was tasteless, will not be back!!!

We stayed in the village and used this pub several times for food and drink. The staff are pleasant and friendly. They made us very welcome and are pet friendly too. The food is excellent and tasty. Lovely old English pub, very cosy. Great Ariel range of menu choices, they stock my fav wine too - always a bonus! Pub quiz every other Sunday great fun but challenging and tonight Chinese buffet. Love the variety this pub offers.

Visited pub twice during a camping weekend in the village and found it to be very friendly hospitable and full of character both in the fixtures and fittings but also the local regulars. We did not eat here but popped in for afternoon drinks after a long walk and found the garden lovely to sit in and relax. Returned next... More
