This brand of chains is always good for coffee and easy wifi access. This cafe is on Avenue Louise and is easy walking distance from the Wiltcher's hotel. The food was nice not big portions but one of the few places serving breakfast early.

If you are looking for a cozy and authentic little café for breakfast, brunch or lunch, you have come to the right place. On the menu you find different bagels, salads and other café dishes. I can recommend the Croque Madamme. The café is sometimes rather crowded, so be patient. Especially during summer when they serve food and drinks outside.... More

A small bakery that does brunch/lunch. Choice was very broad (eggs, bagels, cheese, jams, fresh juices) and at a very reasonable cost.

Went for Sunday breakfast. I love the concept but this particular location in Ixelles fails to live up to the consistency of other LPQs I've visited in the UK and other places. Eggs are prepared in advance so you only have two options - hard-boiled or scrambled (microwave); no flexibility. No porridge. Very expensive for what it offers. Much better... More

It's a very nice place to have a coffee, breakfast or lunch. It has very good vibe and the staff is very friendly. It is one of the places to be when you visit place Chatelain.

Again a bar where employees only care about themselves, and not on their customer! Long waiting time, wrong order - I wish good luck to the boss who might want to turn this around!

We had walked around in the area for a long time in the rain, and suddenly we came to the beautiful Place du Chatelain, and saw this cafe. The waiter welcomed us nicely and we decided to try the marble cake, a cup of coffee and a homemade juice recommended by him. Everything tasted perfectly! We agreed that it was... More

The service is extremely slow and the waitresses are very impolite. After 50 minutes of waiting for two bagels, my friend and I (by that time absolutely famished) decided to pay our coffees and leave We didn't receive any words of excuse and on top of it we had to wait an extra 10 minutes to pay - one hour... Le pain du Chatelain is my favourite place to start my day when I'm in Brussels. Much nicer than any breakfast buffet in any surrounding hotel. Great service, great food, my wife even craves for the "Lait Russe". A manager that will fulfill all your needs and trained the personnel very well. Great for breakfast and lunch. Great to finish...
