Truly, this was a chance encounter. We'd just left the wonderful Horta Museum on the same street, and there it was, Forcado. I'd passed this by on the tram many times, and couldn't resist stepping inside. And - perfect for us and our house guests...More

This is a perfect place to stop for a tea and a sweet pastei de nata before the visit to Horta's museum. The place has many types of the sweet pastries, ranging from the traditional pastei de nata to a Belgium twist - pastei de...More

Very nice place to stop for a cup of coffee or tea! They specialize in pasteis, the Portuguese pastry but the add a little twist by adding some interesting flavors! I had the classic, the praline and the lemon! They were all delicious!

Stumbled on this place by accident, but so glad we did! Perfect and authentic Portuguese nata and great coffee, served with a huge serving of authentic Portuguese hospitality. We were made to feel so welcome and the food was spot on! Seek this place out!

Dear yurien14, Thank you for your review and feedback. Something must have gone wrong as we are known for our qualitative coffee. We always use the highest quality of Camelo (famous portuguese brand) and indeed are familiar with Portuguese coffee styles. Moreover, if you ordered...More

Picked up some glorious gluten free tart on way home from long day of walking. Helpful staff. No picture as it didn't last long enough.

Pastelaria Forcado has a swedish looking hipster interior, serves way too expensive coffee and staff is generic. If you're looking for a 'real' pastelaria in Brussels, Garcia is not perfect but the better option. Forcado is good as far as hipster coffee bars go, but...More

Dear EricPLB, We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with us. However, we can assure you that the family that started Forcado and is still running it, is in fact Portuguese 😊 While we made sure that the authentic...More
