On our various trips to and from the city, we stop either for breakfast or lunch. The menu is complete, food is delicious and portions are generous. On Sundays you can appreciate live marimba music. Tortillas are freshly cooked in front of you. (If you visit I recommend you try the tortillas with melted Chancol Cheese. ) For breakfast a... More

Great restaurant with delicious food and the best service. So worth the stop along the way out to the highlands or back into the city!

The place is a stop on the road, the food was good and plates had good size, they make the tortillas right there in front of you and they are tasty, the deco of the restaurant is cool, service is nice as well, however the bathrooms need some care and love to improve!

We arrived from Atitlán on our way to Antigua on New Year's Eve, it's a great rest stop along the way, and great service even for large groups. Most of their customers are Guatemalan, therefore they don't have menus in English, and I needed to translate for the waiter, but the food is delicious, abundant. There are a ton of... More

We stopped here on our way to Lago Atitlan. We were with a group of 12 people, and they were easily able to accommodate our group for lunch. We ordered two of the large platters to share (plus individual entrees for the vegetarians). The platters were massive! Definitely more than enough for the 8 people who ate it. One platter... More

As with most restaurants in the Tecpan area, meat with French fries or rice and grilled green onions are featured. The food offered is tasty and the portions are ample. The soups here are usually pretty good as are the sandwiches. Don't expect to order veggies, there aren't any on the menu. Prices are typical for the Tecpan area. Expect... More

On the road kind of restaurat but without the rush! Nice typical guatemalan food, reasonably priced, good portions and friendly staff. Hard to beat that "on the road".

I have been stopping here for breakfast, lunch or dinner for a number of years and have never been disappointed. It is located between Antigua and Panajachel so it works out perfect coming and going. Atmosphere is fantastic, food is always excellent, service is great and the place is 4 star clean. Right in the middle of the restaurant is... More

I think this is our first real Guatemalan Breakfast, we really like it, fried eggs, black beans, tortillas, and like fried bananas, it was good.
