Drawn in by the bhaji spiced pork and onion scotch egg (yes really!) with crispy courgette fries as a side. Absolutely delicious and what a nice twist on the standard scotch egg (which itself Is top notch). Vegetarian eldest daughter was impressed by the chickpea...and vegetable tangine. Weather, service, food and drinks, all fabulous. Many thanks Cross Keys folk.More

Spotless, well organised for social distancing, welcoming, friendly, helpful, thoughtful staff who understood my concerns. Offered table outside or inside - chose inside - plenty of room, cool place to sit in the heat - attractive furnishings. Food perfectly cooked but too much for me...- apologies for having to leave some. Can't fault anything, particularly the 2 young waitresses - they were not only caring and professional, but absolutely beautiful . . . . . . . a great first experience for me. Thank you to the Manager who has made sure that all is top standard.More

Second post lockdown visit and this time was just as good as the first. Everything we ordered was excellent and reasonably priced both the food and drink (there is a good selection of both). The service was also excellent so overall no complaints and would...highly recommend the Cross Keys for a drink, bar/beer garden meal or restaurant meal.More

Flying visit for a quick lunch on my day off from work. The scotch eggs are a wonderful addition to an already excellent menu and teamed with sine skinny fries, absolutely spot on.

Visited this nice pub with some friends for our first 'indoor' meal since lockdown was lifted. The staff were very friendly and pleasant and we enjoyed our food very much. They appear to be covid safe. They now have a very pleasant covered outdoor area...now but it just wasn't warm enough this time. Would thoroughly recommend.More

Me and my partner visited The Cross Keys last month for dinner and some drinks. The menu had a great selection, so much so that we had to have 3 courses! The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The outside dining...area was fantastic, plenty of heaters to keep you warm. We will definitely be returning. 100% recommend visiting!More

Myself and my boyfriend visited this pub today. We had originally booked for 2pm but managed to be seated at 1pm on our request. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was 5 star. A lovely, friendly village feel and the outdoor seating area...was great. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends. Thank you!More
