Very busy here on Good Friday evening – no surprises perhaps – inevitably therefore quite noisy. But tasty and generous portions of food kept us quiet for a little while, and service was speedy, cheerful and efficient. My portion of battered fish was oversailing the plate – large enough to sail away on! Felt seriously full when finished off with... More

Visited here for lunch after a local countryside walk. Been here on a few previous occasions both for lunch, dinner, drinks and parties. Very friendly and welcoming pub, good customer service, good choice of beers and wines and a good choice of food. Comfortable seating inside and a large garden with wooden tables and bench seats for when the weather... More

I have eaten here a fair few times now and I have to say the food just keeps getting better, everything is served how it should be, the steaks are cooked to perfection & the roasts are to die for, very impressed with the service given & the staff are very friendly and polite. Fantastic pub all round😊.

We run (hash) ever Tuesday evening come rain or shine from a pubs within a 10-mile radius of High Wycombe, then all meet back at the pub we set off from for drinks, chips, and chat. All the pubs are assessed on 4 categories, (each marked out of 10 points), which we then rank during the year on our website.... More

After a long walk, this is a welcome haven. A lovely setting and attentive host. I heard so many positive comments on the quality of the food from my fellow diners, the chicken and roast potatoes getting particular acclaim. I so wish they did a regular veggie roast alternative (hint hint). Also, I'm glad to report that puds seem to... More

WE had been meaning to try this pub for some time as it is fairly local to us and had come with some recommendations. We chose from the carvery menu and the food was extremely good as was the service, absolutely no complaints. The pub (and restaurant) are not that large and it felt very crowded as a result. also... A pub that manages to mix great pub atmosphere, with great beer and a warm and cozy environment, plus great food. The bar and dining area just meld together.

Not so far from Champneys, Chesham and Great Missenden a nice place to stop and eat. All the character of an English pub with friendly service, excellent food and country atmosphere. The tables are not too close together and the Sunday roasts were great. Good choice of wines and children friendly. Easy to find and excellent parking. No too crowded... More

For some years now I have been visiting the Full Moon for lunch but it seemed to have lost its way slightly and definately didn't seem so busy. What a lovely surprise when we turned up this week to see the car park full. I hadn't booked and we were extremely lucky to get a seat, the young lady who... More

We went as a family on a Sunday. The pub was busy with a good atmosphere. We really enjoyed our food with the only complaint being that service was a bit slow
