Good little place for breakfast. Good selection of food and good service. Choices range from full breakfast to museli, fruit and omelettes. Worth a try if your resort brekkie is below par.

Ban ban restaurant We stayed for 3 nights in ban ban bungalows and ate here for every breakfast and evening meal. A severe fish and nut allergy was effortlessly catered for by the owner Mali. She and her wonderful family work tirelessly to produce amazing...food. There is also a bakery on site preparing pastries and cakes. The menu is extensive and yields surprises like Thai pizzas ( penang was delicious) and huge breakfast banana pancakes. We love Khao Soi from Chang Mai and were both surprised and pleased to see it here along with Chang mai coffee ( the best we have tasted in a resort- often only sachet coffee available). The raw vegetable Vietnamese spring rolls were clean and fresh and the roti with chicken, carrot and cabbage was excellent. Sadly inherent fish sauce would not allow us to try the som tum papaya salad but the ubiquitous morning glory was the best we had tasted. Having travelled around most of thailands regions, the food here was exceptional. It was all home cooked for you in a relatively basic kitchen by only the small family. Mali’s self learned English was incredible and the meals were truly aroi maakMore

We came here for breakfast our two mornings on Ko Jum. Wonderful breakfast and such friendly people, but the highlight had to be the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! Also had some lovely cats :)

We met Malee in 2015 when she had just opened up her restaurant. It's so wonderful to see her be so successful, although there was no doubt as the family is super sweet and the food is 5-star delicious!! I really need to get in...touch with her, so if anyone reading this review can please ask her to add my number +1-514-919-6032 on her WhatsApp account and call us that would be great. You can tell her it was the Muslim Canadian/Pakistani couple that helped her setup BanBan's profile on TripAdvisorMore

You may have to wait for food in this popular little spot, but it is well worth it! Have a delicious coconut "Corina Shake" and watch the gentle activity of Ting Rai village pass by. The steamed fish with lime and chilli is fabulous. The...fried beef with basil is a favorite, as well as the turmeric vegetables.More

Lovely little restaurant. Between my partner and I we had the penang pizza, prawn fish cakes and the Tom Yum, all of which tasted great. They also offer a selection of baked goods which make for a good after dinner treat.

Very delicious food, we've ate in this restaurant several days and tried different Thai dishes. Restaurant owner and the chief is lovely and careful woman. We were 2 couples and she called us Family 1 and Family 2, remembered, who likes spicy or not spicy...food, who likes food with coconut milk and so on. On the last day in the island we ate in the restaurant and said to owner that we are leaving. So she gave us for present cakes and cookies.More

Excellent food we had a feast of several traditional dishes plus a pizza and even that was perfect thin and crispy! Lassie drinks were yummy too we tried coconut and mango both gorgeous. Best food we have eaten whilst staying on the island and lovely...staff who were great to chat with and kindly set the fans up for us as we were very warm! Too busy eating to take any photographs, but I can recommend what we sampled; the prawn cakes, calamari, squid, tuna salad, papaya salad followed by Massaman curry with chicken, rice, roti and a pizza!More

This is the best restaurant we found after trying many, and the staff are lovely. Shrimp cakes, northern thai chicken are standouts. Also nice western and thai breakfasts. The cooking here is a cut above.
