If you are in the sleepy town of Langholm, take time out to use this little, cosy cafe that is obviously one of the regular meeting points for locals. If you can understand the strong local dialect, you will learn all you need to know about the town, while having a very pleasing snack, nicely served.

We visited here with two young boys excited for ice cream. Very surprised they only served vanilla in a cone, bowl or wafer! Was expecting all different flavours in exciting different ways. Staff weren't overly friendly either.

Pelosis is a friendly cafe conveniently situated in the centre of Langholm, there's a large public car park to the rear. We get great take-out/deliveries from them almost every day; I've never been dissapointed and the value for money is unquestionable. It's a small cafe serving honest family grub so don't look for haute cuisine! If however you fancy a... More

We travel through Langholm regularly and always stop at Pelosi's for ice cream, coffee and toasties. The owner is so friendly and remembers you even though you're not a daily visitor. We are always made to feel so welcome and our journey through wouldn't be the same without a visit.... we've even detoured to make sure my husband gets his... More

This is one of the worst cafes I've ever been to. I have gave this cafe numerous of chances but still disappointed. So unwelcoming and the staff are rude. I have been before and had the intention to sit in the cafe, yet I was presented with a takeout container so had to eat my food out of that whilst... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the cafe as it was reasonably priced, tasty food and drink. Although it was small, it seemed popular with locals and the waitress service was very speedy.

Visited for lunch. We were greater by a friendly happy lady ,who pointed out seats, told us where to pick up a menu and find the specials. We both opted for one of the specials - soup & a toasties & a drink-great value at just £5. Soup of the day was lentil and I had a cheese and bacon... More

This place is not fancy but significantly friendlier than the other coffee shop ( truly scrumptious) . The food is basic but promptly served with a smile and as a consequence is busy. The ice cream reminded me of my youth and the only down side is that the toilets are the public ones ( which are old but pristine)... More

A morning coffee stop for a business chat prior to the MTAF event. Dawn brought her young daughter who was well behaved eating lovely chocolate cake. She was safe and happy playing around the cafe entertaining other visitors.

Expensive and squashed. Had a buzz about it but very limited items on offer. We ended up walking out as we weren't even allowed to order just toast for breakfast, it had to be the £6.50 full breakfast.
