Three of us went to this pleasant pub with a good menu. There was a roaring fire, but unfortunately this made the room rather smokey. However, the service was friendly, and the food good with reasonable portions. The local trout that my wife had was particularly good.

Nice little pub, near kielder castle, which is basically in middle of nowhere. Warm welcome and very warm real fire. Food was nice too. Much nicer than in photos. Lovely time and free pool table as it was December
