Had good spread out , fish was good ....salad choice , deserts of all kinds ....place is small for large groups

GRT offers the best. My team had a delicious food in the restaurant. the spread was really feels more. Resort was so green. Kids play area was superb. i feel the buffet charges quit high though they serve more options food.

It was an excellent weekend get away from Chennai. The buffet was awesome. The open barbecue, kids section, desserts were mouth watering. The entire resort was calm, green and relaxing. The beach has a splendid view of shore temple. If you are going there with...kinds, they are sure to have a lot of fun. The live orchestra begins played there was excellent.More

We went for lunch. Nice buffet laid. Food was nice. resturant was clean with attentive service.after meal you can go out up to beach. it looks as swimming pool is merging with sea. good view of sea.

It was just awesome, the place, people, location, beach, food...! Had a chance to visit as a Team outing on the occasion of my project client visit and it happened to be a memorable one. They have party halls and auditorium's to organise activities, quite...spacious and well organised. Fun at the beach are was too good. Do visit for a nice stay if you plan to visit Mahabalipuram/Kovalam.More

Food is simply outstanding at this Resort. I have sampled it several times. Each time I have been more than satisfied.

Did not stay on the property but visited the lunch buffet and was impressed by the helpful and courteous service. The food and spread was decent; nothing to write home about..

dropped in at around teatime for a drink and a snack... We were warmly welcomed and provided a table overlooking the pool... nice! It was a bit warm - oudoors was steaming at 40 deg centigrade - we asked for the airconditioners to be turned...on higher and were told it would be done. we proceeded ordering food. The Kathi Rolls are excellent - almost a mini meal by themselves... a plate had 3 peices... good! The samosas are small, 6 pcs on a plate, tasty The Paneer Pakoda - stay away from these - very little paneer, more of vegetables and soaked in Oil!! By the way - they kept reassuring us the sirconditioning would be put on - never hapenned - until one of the cleaners wiping the tables close by informed us that the airconditioning was out of order for the past few days and not working!! What a bunch of liars - we protested and only then they opened the door to let some air in - but we had already finished our food. When we protested again - they agreed to give a 10% discount on the food! My question to them was - why had they not informed us that the aircon was not working when we walked in?? we would have happily sat by the poolside with the cool sea breeze - better than a stuffy room!!!More

week ends gets crowded either you go early or just avoid going on weekends. menu can be improved for the price

we went here to have dinner with a friend while we were staying at the GRT. It is lovely place with light music from the 90's playing. good service from the staff and the food is light and extremely delicious. It has neither been "indianised'...or 'continentalised' it tastes exactly how its meant to be.. there is a broccoli dish we ordered that was the only disappointing one as it was way way too spicy and looked like someone had boiled broccoli and smeared spicy paste all over the top and served as a whole!!!More

Very good experience overall. The collection of wines and food was good. Usually in a buffet, the spread is not that great, but here the spread was also good and sumptuous.
