We stopped here for lunch. What a find! As soon as we walked in we felt at home. The place is just what you expect in a typical Portuguese restaurant. Customers were a mix of Europeans and Locals. The staff were very helpful in selecting our fish which was perfectly cooked. Accompanying vegetables served in a dish with sizzling oil... More

We went back three nights running we loved this restaurant so much. The fish was outstanding. Very fresh and beautifully cooked. The tiger prawns and Piri piri prawn were our highlights. Wonderful friendly knowledgeable staff ; the service was impeccable and really fast. Very reasonably priced we thought for the quality of the food.

Usually I don't like to wait for a table, and I had to wait over 30 minutes. But I don't regret! The service is excellent, the atmosphere... super comfortable and the food is magnificent. Is not a cheap restaurant, but worth every €uro spent. The fish are super fresh and perfectly cooked, I had some Goose barnacles and limpets as... More

Glad we booked - a very busy Wednesday evening and the queues were building as we ate. Curious place, Vila do Bispo, notable for a football pitch and a Lidl but Ribeira do Poco gave the lie to one horse town-ness. Great piri piri prawns and turbot in particular. Friendly staff. Not superlative but well worth a visit.

Excellent restaurant with good service. We ate octopus salad and tiger shrimps with vegetables and potatoes. The food is fresh. The desserts, flan pudding and bolo de bolocha (wafer cake) are great. We recommend it. Correct pricing (average 12 euros per plate)
