We visited Feggesund Kro for lunch. We had the specialty: fried eel platter for which the place is famous. In the genre of the traditionel Danish cuiseen it didn't disappoint! The fried eel were fresh and perfectly cooked. We would definitely recommend a visit to Feggesund Kro, and remember to order a Thy Porter and a Porse snaps for every... More

A delicious lunch of fried eel, iced schnapps and strong beer in this lovely, historic waterside inn far away from pretty well everything. A really hearty welcome in English and Danish. Rapid service and big smiles

.. And you will find that they make it quite alright here. It is a quite fatty dish but an old Danish classic. The view of the see is worth the while, but as far as interior this place needs an overhaul.

We also had the 'stjerneskud' however that was very disappointing in comparison. Where the fried eel were fresh and perfectly cooked, the shrims and fish in the 'stjerneskud' were not... More

We came here for the fried eel. The drive to the inn is lovely, with a trip on a small ferry. The inn has been renovated in the public rooms but the bedrooms although very clean, are very basic with a very cheap shared showerroom. The bedrooms have been furnished from a Genbrug (charity shop) and are either single beds... More

The structure is old, but the inside of the inn, the restaurant, the "party" area, and the toilet facilities are all very clean. There were not many rooms (maybe 6?). 2 shared bathrooms were amply supplied with towels and toiletries, natural lighting, good ventilation, and failry new shower and john. You have to try the panfried eels - just amazing... More

The title really says it all, it is very OK to go here if you are into having eels until you have a stomach ache. If you aren't a heavy eater, then the pricing can seem a bit high. You do not want to go here if you are on a diet, because fried eels is a greasy affair. The... More

The restaurant is ideally located in picturesque surroundings in the northern part of the beautiful Isle of Mors, with a view of the fjords and the little harbour, which mainly serves as the landing area for the ferry sailing back and forth every half an hour connecting the island with the neighbouring island of Thy. The interior of the restaurant... More
