Very nice restaurant. The owner is the kindest. Food is excellent and Chef is awesome. I strongly recommend.

We had a lovely first night meal at the Treille and actually wanted to book it for our 2nd night but they told us they were closed and that we should book this one. The food was fine, but I just had to let people...know that the server/owner was the rudest server I have ever had in my life! and I'm late 50's ! It was almost funny, he sarcastically mocked our English accents very loudly, refused to take our order because 2 of the table were talking together, and was almost furious that one of our party asked for butter! we had to leave straight after main course.More
Their menu is in French, so i was a bit unsure, but luckiky there is google translate. I ordered the fish of the day and my boyfriend the gnocchi. Both were very delicious. As a dessert we have chocolate mousse and creme brûlée. What else...do i need to say. Definitely worth having dinner here.More
The quality/price ratio is low (the tomatoes were not fresh and juicy) and the waitress was not friendly. Out of 7 persons, 1 just wanted to get a cocktail as he was not hungry but the waitress complaint about it and said that she had...to eat something. My brother in law found a spider in his glass of wine!More
Why spend your money on a third class place like this, when you can find other very decent restaurants wih good food and menus at the same price. We were very disappointed with the food - the service was okay. The owners daughter can't understand...why we don't like microwawe food and chantilly cream from cans. So much for that! But basically this place is a tourist trap in the high Season. Lousy food, no service, expensive in view of the actual food served.More
The restaurant looked very pleasant from the outside and it had a very tempting menu on the display, so we decided what we are going to have and walked in. The beginning was very promissing as I received my vegetarian salad, which was excellent. Unfortunatelly,...it all went down the hill from there: my "wild mushrooms" (cepes) in my pasta happened to be the ordinary, white mushrooms and my friend's salmon wasn't there at all (it featured in the menu) and was replaced by a cod. The "iIe flottante" wasn't there either (again, it was on the menu) and the tarte au citron which was offered instead tasted like one bought in a supermarket, definitely wasn't home made. The most surprising thing was that the restaurant DIDN'T HAVE any tea! I asked for a black tea and I was looked at like I asked for something out of this world! In the end the waiter (owner?) brought one sad tea bag of a green tea with a mint flavour! I had to have coffee instead, after which, I (but not my friend) was offered a shot of an orange flavoured liquor, which, I give them that, was quite nice. In all, it was a disappointing experience, too many dishes were missing and displaying them on the menu was a deception.More
Went to restaurant at 6.50pm. Advised opens at 7.00pm and Chef having his meal. Checked menu and first two meals chosen were not available. Waiter advised that "we would not get on and that we should leave". Disgusting attitude. Finished our drinks and politely told...him to shove it. I have never met such a rude individual in a restaurant in my entire life. Top of my list of " never again".More
If you are visiting the Southern Alps and looking for a comfortable and tasty meal this is the place for you. Monsieur is very agreeable as are the prices. We splashed out and had a 23€ formule, half a bottle of good wine and a...coffee, 60€ in all. We were very happy with that although we could have spent far less so there is a good choice. There were plenty of French customers, some local we suspect.More
After spending our dinners in France either throwing away 25+ euros per person (before the wine) or eating a baguette-and-cheese at the hotel room, this was a refreshing change. We shared a salad and each ordered a pasta. Don't expect any culinary delights - these...were merely good, and the 4-star review is because the entire dinner cost 36 Euros. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and even recognized us a day later as we crossed him in the street. All in all, don't be concerned about this place's low overall ranking. It's a good budget option to have dinner in St.Martin.More
