To be clear this is a standard buffet resturant, the food and service is no better than Cape cod or Hunters Grill. What you are paying for is the character experience, and personally I think double the price is extremely excessive, and this does not...include a drink like the other restaurants do. The Character experience was fantastic, i think we met about 8 characters all of which took time out to really interact with the kids, and they looked to time visits to the table around the kids eating which was nice.More

We paid well over the odds to eat in here. We did it so we could have the character dinner which was amazing, but the quality of the food is just not great. They really need to get a grip with it. I know you...don't go for the food, but nearly £160 for a family of 4 to eat fairly poor quality food. What made it worth it was the experience of meeting 6 characters at dinner.More

Plenty of variety of delicious food. Cast members attentive, professional, friendly. Loved the fact that the characters come to see you at your table. A fun happy experience.

We booked 3 character dining experiences and this one was my favourite by far. The food was very nice but it also felt like we got the most character interaction here. We had the 1pm lunch slot - maybe it was quieter and that's why...we got to spend more time with the characters. We saw Mickey, Goofy, Pluto & Tigger. I also didn't feel rushed. I was worried about having to dash to the buffet and run back to the table to make sure I wasn't missing any of the characters but because they did spend a good time with everyone, there always seemed to be plenty of time to get food. The characters do take regular breaks so might disappear for a short time but will come back and continue where they left. Great selection of food. Lots of choice for starters, fish course and some mains and an incredible amount of cakes and desserts. The food was all really tasty. We were well looked after by Loetitia. She was very friendly and helpful throughout even when we made a mistake with the bill. I would highly recommend booking lunch at Inventions - you save so much time not having to queue in the park to meet Mickey.More

Very good buffet selection with some truly excellent quality food and a huge variety. The seafood section was excellent, the pasta and pizza and chips welcome, and the meats were all really good. Desserts absolutely deadly - beware of the deliciousness! Whatever you do, pace...yourself - it's so easy to overeat. Not great if you're heading for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril afterwards. Our waitress Lorra was very helpful. But the best thing was seeing the smiles of delight on the face of our five year old niece as each character came over to her, some several times during the meal. She collected at least 6 autographs in her book, and we got some great photos. Yes the whole thing is very expensive. But it's a lovely experience for both children and adults alike, and hey, you're on holiday. There's plenty to enjoy... so enjoy!More

This was our second visit and again we had dinner. The choice of food is very good and there is something to suit all palates. Characters are great and interaction is amazing. It is definitely worth going just to meet the characters. We were lucky...to get a table by the window so were able to view the fireworks in the warm.More

Expensive prices, right, that we know and accept... spending some minutes with Mickey & co unfortunately has a price. But what we DO NOT accept is to be treated differently from other customers... Here is our story, family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids......our little one had her 4th birthday the very day we were at this restaurant (hence the booking there). Of course, we paid the extra price for the birthday cake to be brought by Mickey & his friends (35 € for the cake). Our waitress told us to tell her when we wanted the cake... so we did and she answered "ok, you'll get it in 5 minutes, just need to wait for Mickey to be ready"... Ok fair enough... But to our surprise, when half an hour later we asked for the cake again, the waitress was really sorry to tell us that the table right next to ours (12 adults who arrived half an hour after us) were actually busy and in a rush (oh yeah? is anyone in a rush when visiting Disney?) and so had to get their birthday cake first... hum ok, I don't think that fair but well you're here to enjoy your time, not to make some scandal over a birthday cake... so we waited. And 10 minutes later, yeah 2 cakes arrived at the same time... but guess what? None was for us... ok, we asked again about this to the waitress, she gave some unclear explanation... in the end, it was 4 birthday cakes that our little girl saw going under her nose before getting hers!!! Go explain this to a 4-year-old girl... I must say I'm really disappointed to see that Disney accepts some of his staff to get bribed so that some people can get what they want. It's just pathetic and so far away from the so-called Disney magic. Don't go there... your 270 euros (yes that was we paid for the 4 of us) will be much better spent elsewhere.More

We had lunch here in February half term and would say it’s more for fine dining rather than for children. It was a very expensive buffet with limited options for children which is poor as the experience is based for them. We saw the main...characters apart from Goofy who came around once and we never saw him again and my son was disappointed to not get his autograph and a photo as the waitress told us he had gone... The characters generally come around 3 times so if you are queuing at the buffet you do in fact miss some and by the time you sit back down the opportunity has gone and they’ve moved on. I wouldn’t recommend this place with small children I would book to go to cafe Mickey instead (do a late one! After the fireworks) the menu is better for children, there’s more space and as it’s late you get more time with the characters so more for your money! The characters are now getting harder and harder to see and it’s a shame you have to do this to see them reallyMore

Love love loved it! The look on our 5 yr olds face was worth every penny. Had an all inclusive food package and this was included. Dinner was chaos with parents getting in on the action with Mickey and the gang. Food was AMAZING and...so much choice ! Definitely recommend this placeMore

Good way to meet characters whilst enjoying excellent food.4 characters circulated the dining room and interacted with guests at each table, taking time to pose for photos and sign autograph books

Yes you can upgrade to Inventions. Book as soon as you can as it’s very popular and gets booked up quickly. Lots of choice of food and lots of character interaction.
