Went there unexpectedly. We were a group of 5, swimming at Ghar Lapsi and we decided to have something to eat. The restaurant at the top of Ghar Lapsi was closed so we went to the nearest one in Qrendi. Had not been there for...10 years but had fond memories of the place. The place is small but the food is genuinely Maltese. The menu is limited to few pasta dishes, rabbit, horse meat, steak, chicken breast and a couple of more items. While you wait for your ordered food they bring some finger food, typically maltese, like bread with olives, some dip and some 'escargot'. Simply delicious. Very laid back atmosphere, good service and attention.More

Always a pleasure dining here. This time they even went out of their way to create a low carb diet shandy to suit my requirements. So nice to find such service and hospitality. Well done.

I was invited to attend a dinner at Qrendi Bocci Club. I was surprised by the freshness of the food and also the presentation. Maltese Food galore. I will surely recommend this place for a night out with friends. Very informal and lovely service.

I love eating fried rabbit , and to tell you the truth the way Manwel cooks it is simply delicious. The atmosphere is really nice and foe the sport loving diners especially football fanatics the live football games on the big screen is a big...bonus. Another speciality is the snails cooked in garlic these are served with the compliments with a maltese platter of bread with tomato paste , broad beans etc. Finally at the end peanuts and Helwa and a fruit platter.More

I have been a customer of this quaint traditional Maltese restaurant for the past 10 years and was never disappointed. I also do not shy away from taking with me my clients especially foreigners for a true taste of Maltese traditional dishes. I love the...special and abundant appetizers including Maltese platters and snails which are offered free of charge! My favourite dishes are the spaghetti with Rabbit Sauce and the mixed rabbit and horse meat for main course. I always try to refrain from indulging at this stage but it is impossible to resist. Last but definitely not least, the (again free of charge) fresh fruit, date filled pastries and traditional 'helwa tat-tork' as dessert. Wine list is very selective and what I also appreciate is that soft drinks are served in glass bottles...a touch that I miss to see in much larger and renowned restaurants! Service is genuine and excellent and I appreciate the owner of the restaurant, Manwel who never misses to come around the tables for a chat with his clients and to check whether everything was ok with the food and service. The kids love the place because they can play just outside the restaurant since there is a lovely quite square and no traffic whatsoever. The bill? Considering the portions, quality of food and free appetizers and dessert....ridiculously low priced to say the least!More

The type of place you can have good traditional food. Not a classy place but if you want a good traditionally cooked rabbit that is the place you need to go.

I never tire of this place. The chef/owner doesn't believe in pre-prepared food and the results are testimony. Rabbit is to die for and he has an awesome recipe for snails. Make sure you ask for alot of bread, because the fried rabbit comes with...a generous amount of garlic - and the oil used for frying is changed everytime. You can see this from it clear appearance. If you want authentic Maltese......with a delicious homemade date pie as desert, you have to visit this place.More
