On the occasion of our visit to Nizza Monferrato we read about this tavern and our expectations were not disappointed, we ate and drank very well and the innkeeper (can he be called that?) told the story of his cuisine and more generally of his land he made us feel all the passion for his work. Traditional family cuisine, 0 km products, warm welcome, courtesy and professionalism. We found all this at Taverna Margherita where we enjoyed an excellent Fassona joke, a fillet with seasonal vegetables, excellent skewers to close with a very tasty double tiramisu. All at a very fair price. We will be back.

We passed by this restaurant by chance and, even though it was close to closing time, we were greeted with truly rare kindness and professionalism. Excellent, rich and homemade food with local proposals accompanied by excellent wine recommendations (excellent cellar) and smiles from the staff who pampered us and made us feel at home in an informal and truly pleasant atmosphere. The 5 stars are well deserved!

So... in the sign you talk about cooking and flowers together, and so you're already off to a good start... then... a few tables, furnished with simple but selected elements (and scattered plants, as above) that make you feel at home, smiles and kindness (very little is enough to give a lot). Simple, non-dispersive menu, where you choose, choose, you can be sure you don't make a mistake, including the wine (which seems obvious given the area, but isn't always the case). Having arrived here for lunch without having booked, we were welcomed with rare kindness. The menu is typical Piedmontese, all excellent with points of excellence on the meats. The steak was divine, cooked to perfection it literally melted in your mouth. Winning value for money. Congratulations to everyone!

Warm and welcoming place. Having dinner with two friends. We tasted a trio of starters: peppers with bagnacauda, green cardoon cake with fondue, Piedmontese starter. Exquisite! Then cardoon flan, agnolotti, hamburger. Excellent raw materials combined with the courtesy of the owner make the place a truly exquisite place!

Boring possibilities in the kitchen of our house and combined with the little desire to cook, we decide to go out for dinner. Where do we go ? Not far.... in NICE What to eat for? Not the usual Piedmontese dishes that we know well, but the "CICCIA" Where? we evaluate the reviews and decide for Taverna Margherita!!!! Good choice; very nice place, friendly and courteous staff, good choice of dishes, we opt for a grill and a sliced well presented and of excellent quality. By the way, the welcome plate was appreciated. I understand why the place is full, even on an anonymous Wednesday in April, with 50% foreigners.

Nice place in the center of Nice, where the quality of the raw materials is a certainty. Overall good dishes, a special mention to the hamburger with caramelized onions and the tiramisu with peaches! Very friendly and helpful staff. The only flaw is the menu which doesn't vary much: for example, it might be nice to introduce the dish of the month or seasonal dishes.
