Seven of us arrived rather dishevelled after a day long journey and we're thrilled with this find close to our accommodation. The maitre d' couldn't have been more charming or welcoming, explaining each of the dishes presented as the set menu. So enjoyable, we were given a private little dining room and loved the whole experience. We would definitely recommend... More

Went there for a friends birthday, 8 gents from London. The evening was made somewhat extraordinary by some of the most bizarre service ever witnessed. The waiter / sommelier showed complete disinterest and disdain for our table. He was very democratic in his approach, he was miserable with everyone. Food was OK but some on the table felt overrated. At... More

We travelled from nearby village of Aumont to visit this Michelin starred restaurant and enjoyed the Menu du Marché which included their signature dish of 'Le Véritable Chou Farci'. The waiting staff were very attentive and helped with the translation from French for us. The Madame of the house stopped by our table for a chat and made us very... More

Don't believe you can always get a taxi at the Gare d'Amiens. Eventually we asked our hotel to phone for one . 10 minutes later it arrived with 7 € on the meter. Michelin say L'Aubergade is 6 km from Amiens. Whatever it's 23€. I mentioned to Madame that taxis were difficult. She said it depends on the trains but... More

We stopped for lunch in a hard rain while driving from Paris to the Normandy beaches. As soon as we walked in, we realized this was going to be Good (yes, with a capital G)! The setting was bright even on this rainy dreary day with skylights and a big picture window. The decor details were all thought out and... More

We had the set menu for 42 Euro and really enjoyed it and felt it was excellent value. Their English was better than our French and everyone was friendly and helpful. The Veal, Fish and the house speciality were all excellent accompanied by a recommended 'fresh' red wine

I visited l'Aubergade for the second time recently. Last time my colleagues had tried the signature dish - cabbage stuffed with foie gras It looked delicious and I was determined to try this time. It was indeed delicious I asked the sommelier for his recommendation for an appropriate wine and he recommended an inexpensive Macon, at a price less than... More

The menu and food are excellent: The local speciality - cabbage stuffed with foie gras is very unusual (never seen anywhere else) The wines were also very good For me the service was a little too relaxed since it took 3 hours to enjoy the meal 1 Michelin star and worth it

Thank pipayne
