We ordered calamaris and grilled tuna. The calamaris came with a selection of sauces and the tuna was grilled to near perfection. Together with an informal an friendly atmosfere this was a meal to remember. We are definitely coming back!!
We really enjoyed our meal here, we had garlic chicken and grilled tuna between us. Both tasty and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy but the staff were calm and in control. The service was faultless. Would highly recommend
Ate here recently during 17 day stay on Tenerife; having eaten here a few years ago. Unfortunately, based on the dishes we ordered - chopitos and grilled seafood platter, I can only describe it as the most expensive meal we ate, and also the worst...More
Saturday night, no booking, welcomed in. Friendly staff, the sound of happy chatter & an amazing selection of fresh fish. Definitely worth heading away from the main square to find this little gem. Will be visiting again before we head home.
The food in la Familiar is largely canarian with some international dishes. But what I like most about this place is the lack of music and the sound of happy animated people.
For a good value, lively night out, this place is a good choice

Starting with two different soups which were fine but nothing special followed by sea bass with vegetable side...More
Excellent food.lovely hostess. Starters were lovely. Main meal was delicious. Advise you arrive early or reserve a table as it is always full. Very friendly people. One of the highlights of our week in Tenerife.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of an old building and it is pretty cramped in their. I don't think a wheelchair would negotiate very well around all the furniture in the restaurant. Also I recall the entrance door being quite narrow, even for someone on foot.
I did not use the toilets there. But I would imagine that negotiating ones way to the toilets in a wheelchair would be challenging.
