Istrian restaurant with a fancy garden, very good truffle pasta and steaks. Service very friendly and family run. Been here for a couple of times and the quality is constant, always:

My boyfriend took me there and i was like why there is so far away, and it took my breath , perfect , nice ambient modern/old combination, sun on closed terace, food perfect. No signal on the phone (but maybe better) to enjoy food better.

This was our first time (but not the last). Great ambient, friendly stuff and excellent food. The house wine (Merlot) was also good. I strongly recommend to visit Stari Podrum if you visit Momjan or if you are on vacation in Istra.

Our very first night in Croatia(Note: we visited in April 2013, but I can't select that year in the options), we arrived here on the recommendation of our B&B host, and had no idea what to expect. We were warmly greeted by the hostess/waitress and seated. We explained that we do not eat meat, so we weren't sure what the... More

I'm sorry I ate 10 minutes before because this place is great and the food looks great, we were able to snack a little prosciutto and cheese, definitely coming back here as soon as I could Staff is poor and slow

Everything was just perfect! Best pasta I have ever had! Fabulous T-bone. The only recommendation would be domestic bread.

Bad service and average food. Not home made bread. They have just good beaf steak. We were waiting 1h for bill.

Visited with my boyfriend because of TripAdvisor raitings and it really is a 5 star food tavern. We recommend to make a reservation because the place was packed. The staff is really helpful and kind. We had rump steak with mushrooms and Boškarin meat (traditional Istrian cattle). It was divine. Had few glasses of wine, for dessert classic tiramisu &... More

I visited Stari podrum with my parents and boyfriend last night, and we had the best experience! First of all, the service is great! The waitress (that is one of the daughters, Ingrid i think) was very friendly, funny and gave us good recommendations for what to eat. First we had garlic soup which was just great! Then we had... Worth to eat there. The wine of the house is good. Pasta with truffles was good (same in other good places) the steak with mushrooms was outstanding. The personal was quite polite, we had a nice dinner.

Description
The Konoba (restaurant or tavern in Croatian) has a web site, link below. For some reason it has a "ch" (Switzerland) address. Not sure why. Well worth a visit. http://www.stari-podrum.ch/dobrodosli.html
