We found the restaurant atmosphere to be lovely and the service was very good. The meals were okay. Good but not what we would consider fantastic. We had the fish fillet of the day and a cheeseburger.

We've really enjoyed our meal. Cozido - something for meat enthusiasts, specyfic taste (13 EUR, plate for two 20 EUR really big portion). I really recommend Tony's beaf stake (16 EUR - also big one).

Tonys is referred to in most travel guides so we decided to go there and try it out. Overall experience was good, apart from a mixup with our order maybe due to the fact that the restaurant was very busy. The desserts were also tasty.

You can see the pan comming out from the volcanic place of Furnas, then take a walk near the big lake before having lunch at Tonys. I recomend to book. The service is medium/regular. The food is tasty.
