Not disappointed the food was a delight, two of us had duck, dauphinois potatoes and fresh veg. My wife enjoyed her crab bake and the whole meal was well presented and served by professional and friendly staff. A great lunch will return soon.

We went with our children for dinner and the food was fabulous. 10 out of 10 from all four of us. Great service and hospitality. Definitely worth a visit.. or two!

We were seated on arrival and very friendly staff gave us the menus and took our drinks orders. We all fancied something different so had four different meals and four different sweets (the kitchen staff must have loved us!). Everything was served perfectly cooked and...More

We pre booked our table on recommendation. This is an old world country pub with plenty of character. Oak beams, attractive interior with a friendly atmosphere. Our waitress Hannah was the perfect host. Friendly, welcoming and a really nice young lady. We both had fish...More

Sadly despite good food and good service the evening's experience was spoilt by noise levels. It is a small pub, locals meet for drink and chat so not a place to visit for quiet evening meal.

We visited here for our Wedding Anniversary as we have done in previous years. We always have a warm welcome and the ambience is great. This time was no exception, and was even better if that were possible. There was a buzzing, vibrant atmosphere of...More

I'm absolutely confident that if there was not an option on the menu for you, if you contacted them before your reservation, they would be glad to accommodate you.

There were dogs in the bar area when we went but none in the area where people were eating. Hope this helps.

Description
This is a lovely old pub restaurant, serving delicious food. We have eaten there twice & each time has been a wonderful experience. The food is fresh & the vegetables in season. Delicious. We will certainly be going again.
