Food was ok , service was pleasant ... Found the price was a bit steep for the portion and quality , my wife enjoyed hers thought mine was quite bland

A small family owned & family staffed restaurant - they are REALLY friendly. The food is simple but fresh & delicious. They grow, press & sell their own olive oil. However, they make the house white in their vineyard. It is absolutely gorgeous - sold...from the barrel for a few euros per carafe. Far better than some of the bottles we have paid a lot more for. Something really special about this place ….. we arrived with my parents and 2 young kids. They have a little play area that kept boys entertained. Never felt they were a nuisance. They make their own olive lol which is used in the dishes and...they make their own wine - both of which was actually really nice - we bought some olive oil to take home. Service was relaxed and food was simple fresh and delicious… what more can u ask for on holidays! Really enjoyed the meal and getting to know the family! A real treat! And very reasonably pricedMore

Came here last two years ago glad to see it had survived as some others haven’t had the homemade chicken liver pate which was delicious the customer service was friendly as usual

Not been here before in all our visits to Alykanas but came last night , had the homemade pate to start that was excellent followed by the liver and onions , all other meals were very good as well , service was great and very...reasonable prices, will be returning on our next trip to alykanasMore

Had been here before lockdown and was well impressed. Tonight was a different story. We asked if sardines were fresh as stated on menu. Yes was the reply . Definitely not fresh and could not eat them, dry and flour coated . Main course was...grilled prawns and sadly not much better. Dry dry dry. We did talk to the manager who did not charge us for the food . Thank you. However an apology for our experience and poor quality food would have been welcomed. Let's hope things improve and can be as good as we had 3 years ago.More

Amazing food!! The staff are really friendly and welcoming. There is lots of Choice and it’s cheap too!! We had our evening meal 5 night out of 7 it was that nice. Would definitely recommend it.

Ate here 4 times during our 2 week stay in Alykanas, all meals were lovely. Nothing negative to say as food and drink are great and staff really helpful. Also really cheap.

We absolutely love the Greek Acropolis! Claire is an amazing chef! The food is all delicious. Homemade Pate starter is gorgeous! Husband’s favourite main is Liver, bacon and onions. Mine is Claire’s Mousaka or Baked Cod! The Lemon Cheesecake is amazing! The family make you...feel so welcome too. Bought some of their own Olive Oil to have at home it’s lovely over a salad .More
