You can read the full review and see a short movie about Melia fine dining restaurant on the only blog for reviews and ratings refracted through the 5D Sensograph of the 5 human senses placescases with com. See .... …. Interior / exterior that is...in tune with the beautiful nature of the second arm of Halkidiki, Sithonia and in particular that of Caridi beach in Vourvourou; …. Remarkable plating, typical of fine dining restaurants; …. A short menu, with everything familiar from Greek cuisine, but when you get your dish on a tray or plate, you see its perfect version. From the first page of the menu they announce that the products are organic, locally farmed or own; …. Some of the dishes have a final preparation in front of the customer at the table. Such was the case with the shrimp, which were baked on a hot plate in front of us, then served on small slices of black bread, spread with fine tarama. I had never tasted a more amazing shrimp taste so far! Feel …. …. Good service, with the typical speed with which most restaurants on the peninsula's sleeves are famous, but with an elegance typical only of fine dining. Hear …. …. Pleasant Greek music, but also a slow chill-out arrangement of famous songs. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is live music that is unobtrusive and calm. ...... Smell .... …. The appetizing smell of lightly fried and fine spices with seaweed on the grilled shrimp, combined with tarama; …. The citrus aroma of oranges from desserts. Taste .... I warn you that here they do not hand out desserts in the end before the bill, as is the case with typical Greek taverns / restaurants. Here, each dessert is masterfully made and cannot be served to an entire company in quantities. …. Fish soup with skordalia. Serve a plate with a few basic ingredients on the bottom and pour over the skordalia; … Moussaka - the minced meat is made of lamb and veal, the cover on top is as soft as béchamel and the top layer has a light crispy crust; …. Tarama - very fine texture, which contrasts with the chips on top, with which you scoop it and eat straight with your fingers; …. The pasta is wonderful, the octopus accompanied by a very tasty green vinaigrette and a slightly spicy fava; …. Some of the most remarkable things are the shrimp on a hot plate I mentioned above; …. From the desserts you can choose to try their variation of orange pita or even more - the impressive chocolate soup with dark chocolate mousse and strawberry sorbet. …. Melia cocktail was not balanced in taste - quite sweet, a little more was the liqueur mastiha in it, an idea more lime would be better. Overall, everything we ordered at Melia was very tasty and up to standard. No matter how many times a person goes to this place, it will still be not enough. I have visited Melia Restaurant as i have stayed un one appartment at Karidi Apartments ( same owner). The quality is poor as the meat is not qualitative. As example my son had taken pork souvlaki and he found gristle in the meat. Also ,...if you don' like smoke of the cigars , don' t go there. Some pupils ( i think that some relatives of the owners) had smoked all the eavning and they didn' care about the clients .also the fish is owerpriced ( ex. Dorada costs 65 euro / kilo as the lobster in Afitos restaurants 🙄 Bad experie ce and overpriced!More

The food is exceptional! Everything tastes amazing, really good place, and an amazing setup! 4 out of 5 because of the arrogance of the waiter. Sorry! Shouldn't happen at a place of this quality.

They sell stewed meat with tomato as Greek gyro. No fries in it. The toasted bread will make you cry and laugh in same time - it has almost nothing in it. They don't adopt the food for children (no tomato or add fries in...the gyro. The portions are so tiny, they disappear in 30 seconds. The girl that took our order was so unkind. She didn't warn us that it is different kind of meat in the gyro, nor that tomato can not be taken out because the meat is stewed in it. When we started to ask questions, she just said "read the menu". We will ever ever it there again.More
