We were on a tour for the day at the Cape of Good Hope and we were looking for a great spot for cocktails and a sunset. Our tour guide Mike Stott took us to The Bungalow and we couldn't have been happier. We had great sushi and delicious cocktails. Our waiter Bravo could not have been more accommodating. It... More

The Location of this place is pretty much perfect. It's in walking distance from both Clifton Beach and Camps Bay Beach, it's right in-between the two. The drinks and the food were really good and the staff was really friendly and fun! We had one of the dishes taken back as there was a mistake and it was no problem... More

If you want a good place for drinks and a view, go to Bungalow. If you want slow service and very average food, also go to Bungalow. Been there many times and always went back hoping things would change. emailed the manager and he offered the usual apology, but some serious management is needed there. I guess they rely on... This was a great experience. You can either sit in the main restaurant or closer to the beach under a large awning. Do the latter. The food was superb and it's just an all round great experience. If its a nice day try and get there as the sun goes down and you will be treated to an amazing view.

Came in for a sundowner, was served by a barman who struggled with English, then sat down. Finished my first drink, waited a while hoping one of the 10 waiters sunning themselves and chatting would come to my table until my stomach thought my throat had been cut. Went back to the bar to order my next drink. Same story... More

My boyfriend took me here for my first night in cape town and I was in love. We arrived just before sunset and were seated outside by the water and had views of the mountains too. It was simply beautiful. We only ordered mains and I kept it simple chicken burger and vegetables, but it didnt taste simple, was flavoursome,... More

We came here in the evening to meet friends that have been here since late afternoon for the awesome views of the popular Cape Town sunset but I still enjoyed the ambience and the friendly service from the waiters nonetheless.

You could put a McDonalds here and people would still ooh and ahh at the fabulous views. It's good but very frustrating that it's not wonderful. Everything is ok (and expensive) but if you want steak, there's 5 other places you'd go to first. Same for sea food. With its location management must feel they don't need to try and... More

Always go to camps bay PARANGA restaurant when visting Cape Town as Excellent Fresh Fish at good value. Someone in the hotel suggested trying the Bungalow Restaurant in Clifton for fresh fish and the sunset.. Could not believe the size of my crayfish compared to last night at the Paranga..Half the size but same cost and waiter talked me into... More
