We have eaten here four or five times in the last couple of years and have always enjoyed the quality of the cuisine. The staff are very welcoming and the service is excellent. My wife does not eat meat and the chef is most helpful in adapting dishes where necessary. The set menu is 34€ and has three choices per... More

My son and I traveled through France, eating at 16 one and two starred restaurants over 12 days (plus a few bib gourmands). This restaurant provided the best dinner value of the trip. We chose the 34 Euro menu and had pigs feet / oysters as the starter; lamb was the main and the desserts were very memorable. This restaurant... More

The menu starts at 34 euros and represents the best value. There is a lot to choose from. The other menus just include more expensive products such as truffle. The deco is a bit quirky with tables equipped with different types of chairs and with or without a table cloth. Not sure this is very successful... Nevertheless the success is... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch. The food is beautifully presented and well seasoned, but one big fault in my husband's cod with oysters. There were two long bones in the fish which is something I find unforgivable for a Michelin Star restaurant. The helpings were small, dainty and pretty, I wasn't hungry afterwards but I think the main... More

Visited this place with family for a special meal, with some hesitation, after mixed reviews on another site, and here, but trusted in a star rating. How wrong we were! This does not deserve a bib, much less a star. What could have led to such a decision? It leaves us perplexed. To start, despite a reservation, we were left... More

Really nice little restaurant, don't by put off by the tacky ferry lights. The food is solid and is routed in the region. Nicely presented classical flavors meet modern presentation and techniques. We had a lovely meal but the lack of other diners was alarming we are the only ones there. The food was really very good. I would hope... More

This is a recent addition to the perigueux area with a chef trained in this region. It is located in Champcevinel, about 8 kms on the old road to Limoges and Paris. There is a main room, pato and bar. We ate on the patio, there were about 12-15 people all on the patio. This chef has way of preparing... More

We saw this restaurant a few weeks ago and decided to have lunch there. the restaurant appears almost Romanesque in style. You enter the restaurant through a pretty courtyard, into a reception/bar area, which leads in to a separate dining area. The decor is contemporary, but has been done sympathetically and to a high standard. The menu is not vast but... More
