An absolute must visit when you are at this beautiful and gorgeous city. Some of us had come in after completing our trek on the way down and Dawa made us all feel special and even gave one of us a chance to go behind...the bar. All the while enthralling us with stories he kept us in high spirits till the wee hours of the morning... like someone else here has put - We came in as a guest and left as friends...More

This is a super fun place where you can have the luxury of enjoy a good sherpa beer and many other original cocktels at 3.445m (just for a breake in the middle of your trekk) and have probably the funniest night of it. The irish...pub was like a home for us during our time in the famous Namche Bazar. The atmosphere is amazing and this is thanks to Khisna and his colleagues, that they have been with us wonderful always. We had such a great experience in there, that on our way back we decided to stay there for a couple of days and we leave very sad. I hope we could repeat the visit some day. We came as guest but we leaved as friends. All your kindness guys, will be always in our memories. Totally recommend this remote irish bar. The work they do is totally from their heart! Best workers ever! Thanks!More

Great place to 'normalise' with music, charging points (for free) wifi and great log fire. Good drinks too.

I did the EBC trek and Namche is a stop you must make both on your way up and down. My first night in Namche i decided to go out for a beer even though i was alone (female solo traveler) and was cold as...fk. But i am glad i did. The pub is cozy, has a good drink menu (tbh i didnt check the food one) at a very good price. Bar tender is very friendly and we actually became good friends. I promised myself i would go back there for a drink after reaching EBC and i did. That second night was so much fun. Pub was full but still loads of available seats for everyone, had a go at the nice minifootball table and watch a couple of pool games. Had a variety of drinks and became friends with some thai, australian , american and local people. They even let me grab their ipad and play some songs🙈More

I went to the Irish Pub during my 2-night stay in Namche on my way to Everest base camp. Although I was off alcohol for the duration of my hike, I just wanted to explore this place as I'd heard about it before. I liked...the place overall: lovely decor with a very mountainy theme (obviously!), a pool table, bench-type seating (as opposed to chairs) and long tables and a fully-stocked bar (including many Nepali/mountain themed drinks, for instance, Yak attack and Dancing yeti!). I did unfortunately cave in and got a Jaegermeister which came in a stylish little glass. Overall, I liked the place and would surely have liked to spend more time than I did.More

Just another Irish pub. Ridiculously overcharged to use my debit card. Told me it was government and bank charges. I replied in Kathmandu I had used my card and no fees were charged to me by businesses. Different in the mountains I was told. What...an absolute tourist trap.More

The lads have created a fantastic atmosphere to compliment either excellent food or just mighty 'craic'. Bring your phone and plug in for music,or just choose from the 1000's of songs on the iPad at the Bar. A variety of non-alcoholic cocktails also...no request is...too much and the dancing is top class. It has the whole package for the weary trekker seeking some distraction and great fun.More

Great choice for a drink and party. There are TV screens, pool table, hand football and central bar that offers limited choice of beers but a really interesting cocktail menu. A good place to hang around

Great service. Brilliant bar staff. Free popcorn. Great music. Live sports. The place to be in Namchee. Don’t forget to get your highest Irish pub t-shirt.
