We had a drink and two snacks/starters here to enjoy the last sun of the day. I think this is the only terrace in town with sunset sun. The waiter was friendly. The food was ok, not special but not bad either.

We are a family of three who had dinner in O Peirao de Rial during a week stay in Combarro. In summary, although the location is very appealing, the place is over-priced compared to nearby restaurants. The service is awful. There was one person serving a large room, neglecting many tables including ours, where he allowed dirty plates to pile... More

We just wanted a casual lunch and lovely as Galicia food can be, fancied a change so we're drawn by the offer of pizza. These turned out to be very pleasant and the setting was lovely. Wd also had fried squid, which was simply the best I have had. We were early for lunch so pretty much had the place... More

This is a nice old warehouse from the 14th century transformed in a restaurant today, and I've been there once with two groups of guests, last year. The food was good and the service average, but the bill was astronomic! I've tried to book it this year again for my guests, because its location is perfect with a great view... More

We were with a tour group and had reservations at this restaurant. The food was very good, and our guide helped translate for us. We had tapas and pizza for lunch. The prices seemed high but the food portions were generous so that was okay. The location is excellent and the facilities accommodated our large group very well. Service was... More

This restaurant is at one end of the labyrinth of narrow lanes that form the historic medieval centre of Combarro. Our party of 5 had a table right by the sea. The owner had been really helpful when we had called earlier to book a table, struggling with the language. 3 of us had the fish barbecue which was delicious,... More

Chose the Peirao de Rial based on a couple of existing reviews and was not disappointed. Three of us had the barbecued fish platter; hake, sea bream and turbot which was fresh and delicious. The waiter coped well with our attempts at Spanish! Overall good value meal in a very pretty seaside village.

Combarro is the best of unseen Galicia. It's tiny but it's so cute. This restaurant is perched on the entrance to the old middle age fishing village of Combarro and it offers great views of the sea. The food is as fresh as any proud Galician restaurant would be and it's so cheap in comparison to the other cities in... More
