When we have been in Sicily we went to the restaurant Andrea – Sapori Montani. We were surprised about the quality of food and services. Everything was good. Cuisine is traditional but prepared in a modern way. The staffs are very nice and warm also the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. When I come home I have prepared their... More

Thank you Andrea and your team for an unforgettable dinner at your restaurant. We came across your restaurant through a Michelin guide and we are very glad we came by. Sicilian cuisine is great, but you give your guests an opportunity to get to look at it through a contemporary and personal point of view. Great and creative meal aside,... More

When we came in for dinner just after 8 p.m. we were seated in a room where a couple with two very young children was already seated. The kids though thought probably they were in the streets and made quite some noise. The waitresses noticed our irritation and offered us a seat in another more quiet room that was still... More

What a discovery! We escaped the heaviness of Noto's endless Baroque edifices and drove 30 kms North to the far more human - but still historically fascinating - town of Palazzolo Acreide. Not 50 metres from the central square we found Andrea's (recommended to us in Syracuse), slightly hidden at the first floor level. We felt instantly welcome and comfortable... More

No, we didn't actually have pizza and chips at Andrea's, but a large number of the local populace did and it looked delicious. Andrea's food is all locally and ethically sourced. We had three courses and a very nice wine for a surprising 50 euros. The food was delicious and certainly would come under the heading of fine dining. I... More

Driving in the town turned to a nightmare when I got stuck at the end of a narrow street, on a hill and needed to reverse backup with parked cars either side! Yikes! After a bit of revving and few failed attempts a young man from a local business asked me if he could help by driving my car back... More

My family and I spend two months in Sicily every year and have done so for the past 15 years. As every year, we embark on our search for the finest olive oils that Sicily has to offer. I learned about Agrestis in nearby Buccheri and while we were there buying some of the best products the island has to... More

After a long day out touring the baroque towns in the area we ended up in rustic Palazzolo initially looking for a pizza restaurant that had been recommended. After wandering around the town not far from the central cathedral we decided to use tried and trusted TA advice and went into ristorante Andrea thinking of having something simple. Well although...
