Visited here a number of times over holiday period and enjoyed every visit. Food is excellent, would give Yellow Heifer run for it's money! Very accommodating with children and service first class.

I haven't lived in Rostrevor for over 8years but every time I'm home, I make sure to pay a visit to the old school house! It never disappoints! The food is delicious, very reasonably priced and portions sizes are generous. It's always busy around lunch time but there's a reason! I love this little place and recommend it to anyone... More

The Old School House always seems busy, but were fine with a party of 9 on a Saturday lunch-time. The food is well-prepared, both starters and main courses. Desserts are clearly pre-prepared and warmed but the children with us (and adults) didn't mind. It's reasonably priced and always is clean, tidy with polite and efficient service.

Had lunch here after consulting trip advisor for recommendations. Was not disappointed. Unpretentious looking from the outside but beautifully decorated inside. Friendly efficient staff but best of all the food was excellent and well above average. Only minor criticism was the teeny micro coke -200ml bottles are a bit small. Definitely intent to come back here soon.

I took my Aunt here for a lunch , it's a particular favourite of hers and we have eaten there a few time. It's a small family run business and the place , the food and the staff are as good as it get's. The menu is superb, the standard of the food is fantastic. Anytime we have been there... More

So lucky to have this marvellous restaurant right on our doorstep. We are regular visitors, indeed have been known to visit more than once in the same day. The welcome is always warm and genuine and the food is always varied, seasonal and cooked to perfection. The gourmet evenings are always over subscribed and sell out in an instant. Peter... More
