Thouroughly enjoyed my Birthday Dinner celebration here with my wif and special friends. My wife enjoyed the Porterhouse w satlbush for mains , and Lemon Ricotta dessert. I chose the Barramundi fish for mains, and Tiramisu with a cute birthday candle🕯️to brighten the occasion. The...Sorrenburg Gammay wine was a fantastic red. The ambiance and setting of Meletos is Wonderful.More

I ordered a prawn rigatoni with "prawn cocktail" sauce. The sauce was partly cool, partly warm - as if not properly stirred out of the microwave. There were about 6-8 small pieces of prawn. Cost :$48. Staff were totally uncaring.

Located in the picture Yarra Valley. The restaurant is an open plan with great views of the vineyards and the Yarra Valley itself. It is a modern building with a hard floor and high ceilings which goes to make it quite noisy. Service was polite...and professional. There was a good selection of local wines, many not well known. We enjoyed our meals, but thought the menu contained limited selections.More

Excellent lunch and service with the sun streaming into the restaurant on a cool winters day. Two of us opted for the beef cheek with roasted veggies and potato purée which was cooked perfectly and the meat melted in your mouth. Great flavours. The other...guest had the lump back strap with parsnip purée and a just which I am told was excellent. Very good service and great food.More

The setting, views and wine was great. Friendly service. But the food was disappointing. Odd choices for the entrees- just quite tasteless. Main of lamb back strap was unfortunately over cooked and served with only yellow sides, it could do with another colour perhaps in...the form of vegetables. The desserts were disappointing too- cannoli was bland and needed some sugar, and the honeycomb in the poached pear was just odd. I wouldn’t normally write a review but I did just want to call this one out as at $85 for three courses it was very underwhelming.More

My husband and I have been to stones a fair bit but not since covid so we were keen to see the new look meletos for lunch. I’m conscious of sone of the less than good reviews and fortunately that wasn’t our experience. Our biggest...concern is noise and with lots of hard surfaces and clatter urs not long before we can get over it. The restaurant was pretty full with a mixture of bus tour people and other diners. We were greeted by a nice young man and he looked after us. The music and noise wasn’t unbearable and we enjoyed the decor and surroundings. Our food was really good and we both enjoyed a shared entree and mains each. We had the gusts cured with honey and were given a second lot of bread when we asked. I had the spatchcock husband had pasta. Enjoyed it all. Full from that we didn’t have dessert just coffee. A lovely punt road Pinot Grigio.More

The perfect place to stay for Yarra Valley getaway. Nestled between Yarra Glen and Healesville, it has great access to all the wineries in the region. My wife had stayed at Meletos a few times for work conferences and it is also ideal for that...as well. The Meletos Farmhouse is beautiful, a great place to stay, and it has extensive gardens and a brewhouse with A range of Meletos beers, and fantastic restaurant (the food is extraordinary). We were fortunate with clear weather so the sunset and early morning mist on the hills was spectacular. The staff were all great, can’t rate this place any higher. The ambiance and detail in all aspects of the architecture and the views of the hills of Meletos is so much like Tuscany that you feel you are there.More

We dined in the cafe with a group of friends for dinner and were in a word, underwhelmed. The setting is nice and the food was ok. We felt there wasn’t enough of the shared food and some of the dishes were average. The Calamari...& lamb shoulder were really good, but for us the real deal breaker was the staff. Void of any personality and did not make us feel welcome in the slightest way. We hardly sighted them at our table for the whole night and had to stare at them to get any service. They were more intent on chatting with one another and cleaning glasses. Overall very disappointing!!More

Stunning location. We went here as a family of four adults and a baby. We were seated and made to feel welcome immediately. Very beautiful decor and ambiance. Great selection of wines , cocktails and beers . You can choose from a feed me menu...or select from the menu . We opted for menu selection and we were all so happy with our choices . Recommend the barramundi and steak. Melted in your mouth cooked perfect. Not the cheapest place for sure but absolutely beautiful. Would go back in a heart beat. Great family nightMore

We went to Melotos for lunch, as we got to our table, we soon realised we couldn't hear the voice of the person next to us because of the incredibly loud noise of one of the tables in the center of the room. We then...asked if we could eat outside, but we were told we couldn't as outside tables are reserved for platters and drinks only. In getting our entrees (which were mandatory to share), my sister who is a pescatatian was only brought two small pieces of calamari. Thankfully the main course was good, I recommend the meat dish, however, for my unfortunate friends who ordered the gnocchi sardi, they weren't able to eat more than two spoonfuls, as the whole idea of the plate was wrong and looked very unappetising. In short, it was a plate of pasta with no sauce, big chuncks of chopped up carrot, some pieces of very small sausage, and unexplainably full of big pieces of white pickled onions which made no sense. When asked if we could have some bread, the waitress kindly replied that the winery didn't serve any types of bread, the closest thing were fried chips. Ironically, 30 seconds later I saw a guy with toasted bread sitting on one of the outside tables, it seems the two menus are independent from one another and do not integrate at all although they come from the same kitchen... Weird. Finally, the desserts were enjoyable, but the cappuccino came ice cold with no frof and the espresso was terrible. Not a place to bring your partner for the noise, wouldn't recommend it for the little value you get as none of the food was great (spent €90 each and it was 5 of us, only 2 people ordered 3 courses and one person had a glass of wine), they don't serve bread and the service is not in line with the place and price you pay.More
