Plenty of homemade Goat Cheese to choose and also some imported international cheese as well. Not a lot of variety but the hot chocolate drink is highly recommended. Not many seats around but usually fully booked in the weekends.

Yarra Valley Dairy is my favourite place for cheese in Victoria. Forget about Milk the Cow and Milawa Cheese, YVD is the place to be. $32 cheese platter for four cheeses, a relish and copious amounts of fresh bread and crackers in a picturesque setting. Supplement it with some smoked Buxton trout which goes well with the cheeses! We go... More

Rustic and friendly. The place gives you a good vibe and the selection of home made cheeses are wonderful. Stopped by for coffee and a good try out of cheeses. Bull's-eye was my fav.

This is an old favourite, and never disappoints. The cheese platters are fabulous as are the pates, terrines etc. I'm not a fan of communal sitting (a bit too hipster for me) but it is a small complaint.

Such a lovely place to stop for a bite to eat, there is also some shop items you can buy with LOTS of delicious jams, sauces, cheese, wine etc. It was busy, so we had to wait about 20mins for our table but in the meantime we had a little cheese tasting and looked through the shop items. Service was... More

We got a pyramid goat cheese during our visit. It is very creamy and delicious. The place is very quaint and the service is fantastic! Food service stops at 4 pm. Get there before that!

When we first arrived and a bus load of "oldies" turned up . No room for us to move in this lovely quaint establishment. We go elsewhere for a bit & come back an hour before they close . The young women seem intent to knock off for the day." Which we all do." So no cheese taste for us... More

I like to stop in here for a quick sampling and at the very least purchase a couple tubs of fresh cheese. Nevertheless, I come away with a big bag of other gourmet goodies that I get to enjoy months later at home. Jam Lady's Harissa Paste is amazing, and the gold truffle mustard looks dazzling on deviled eggs or... More

Fabulous stopover and cheeses however we were on a tour and they seemed to be peeved we were which was such a shame. They left us 'hanging' and when it was "our turn" they just quickly rushed a few tastings by us (no biccies) so a little awkward to try and pick up by hand (esp goats cheeses etc) and... More
