We visited the Boot at Soulbury because it sounded like a nice pub that was close to Stewkley, where we were going that evening to see a production by Stewkley Players. Time was of the essence, so that we could have dinner and still arrive before curtain up. We arrived a little after 6 pm, so there were few if... More

Had the best Sunday lunch here. Fresh baked hot bread to while we waited. My husband had the beef, huge portion, very tender. I had the pork, again plenty to eat. Sharp homemade apple sauce, very nicely cooked selection of veg. Extra jug of tasty gravy, no problem. Very helpful friendly staff, tables not too close together which makes a... More

This is a fantastic restaurant, in a lovely village setting. Part of my family and ! went there for a sunday lunch, and it could not have been better. An extremely varied menu, lovely seating, excellent food, and not ridiculously expensive. It is becoming something of a regular with us, and I am about to book a big birthday party... More

We (being a party of four) stepped into the Boot on Sunday for an impromptu catch up with some friends. We all had Sunday roast (all three courses) and it was delicious. The staff were friendly particularly SJ - and it was nice to see Stuart working hard in the kitchen

Decided to go for a drive in order to find a new place to eat and came across The Boot. We found the food, staff and service very good and would have no hesitation in recommending this place to friends

We love The Boot as the food is amazing. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and they were really busy but we were served quickly and with a smile by the waiting staff. The kedgeree is delicious and the smaller portion is plenty for lunch. You will not go wrong with the boot but it's always worth phoning as quite... More
