We have had many meals here and they have always been of a high standard. The breakfast is very tasty and there is a good choice on the all day menu to suit all tastes.

Popped in for an early dinner after years of driving past. A lot of different options inside of where to sit with various bars and lounges, we got a bit confused with where was serving food at that time of day! We eventually settled on the stag bar, its a really nice sophisticated setup, but you have to order at... More

We have been several times to this very popular destination. Access is very easy just off the A11 and suits us very well to meet up with family. We have in the past eaten in the Bistro bar but yesterday it was too busy to accommodate the 6, including 1 young child, of us ( no bookings during daytime) We... More

Just had sunday lunch at my best liked venue for sunday carvery, good food service and decor, but it is loosing its appeal, the portion of meat given for the sunday carvery is getting very small and there are less vegetable options. still very good quality food and helpful staff, but for the price not the deal it was.

Dined here late Sunday afternoon. We have been to many carveries, but I have to say this was the BEST we have ever had! The meat was TO DIE FOR!! The choice of accompaniments FANTASTIC!!! We are just upset that we live 200 miles away as would be eating here every week. BUT - BOOK IT!!! It's really popular and... More

The stag offers lovely carverys with good succulent meats and a good selection of veg and sides. Venue feels like your in a country home but with a modern twist.

Overall a reasonable pub, nice atmosphere and good food with plenty of choice and lots of seating. The coffee lounge which is part of the establishment is also worth a visit.

We came to the Stag tonight for some food. The interior feels ever so cosy and the menu has a good selection. We had the rump steak burger and the steak hogie. The chips were not so great, slightly underdone but the food in general was filling and tasty. Obviously we were eating in the bar/restaurant area but I found... More
