We found this place as it was close(ish) to our hotel and well rated on trip adviser. To be honest the food really wasn't great. We also spent half our meal trying to kindly ignore a very cute little girl who wanted to sell us flowers. The service wasn't what we expected either. Nothing memorable about the place means we... We visited Ying restaurant as a family. The menu is huge and seems to offer a very wide choice to suit all tastes. I had a green curry with chicken and it was lovely. The service was speedy without being rushed and we all enjoyed our food.

Not awful, but nothing special to recommend it over its competitors. Perhaps we have now been spoiled too much by Sabaijai down our hotel road. Tonight at Ying husband had whole fish fried, we shared spring rolls, tomyum and I had sweet and sour chicken. Followed by a fried banana (no ice cream with it??) shared. All accompanied by a... A typical beach town restaurant looking to provide as wide a selection of dishes to the tourist masses. In fact, the menu is 37 pages long, go figure!! Food is okay, big on seafood, which isn't actually anything special. Standard Thai dishes are okay as they are at almost any other street side stall, cafe or restaurant. Pleasant but unremarkable.

Mainly seafood but do good noodle and soup dishes. Nice to sit near the road and people watch. Beer was ice cold

Busy place on a busy street but enjoyed both the drinks and the food. Friendly staff who kindly removed an item from the bill when the item delivered wasn't the one ordered. Ended up going back a second time as the food quality was great. Also had a big selection which is concerning sometimes but everything we ordered was good.... More

Cute simple place. Very friendly staff. The quality of food is good. We visited this place several times and sometimes took the food away. We liked to take seafood and watermelon shakes.

Went there twice. First time with a friend, second time solo. The second time was lunch time, the restaurant was not as packed as before. I ordered a fried rice with prawns and it was good. The crew were so friendly and kind. They even offered me a free plate of fruit!! Highly recommend!!

Very traditional, quite cheap but basic thai food. Meals came to the table luke warm which was disappointing. There are better options along this road in Karon.

Wanted a quick snack of pad thai (usually paying 40-50BHT in Bangkok, didn't want to be ripped off the 180-200BHT surrounding places seemed to be charging. Pad thai here was 80BHT, and pretty tasty - a little sloppy but by far one of the better places I've been to in such a tourist trap area. Would go back.
