Really fresh quality food cooked and served beautifully. Really recommend the fish dishes. And how often do you get perfectly cooked veg? Nice informal pub atmosphere. Well worth a visit!

Proper as Devonions say! Good country pub with perfect pizza. Nice beer, nice staff, doggie friendly....clean and warm. Well worth hunting this pub down. Just don't look up if you aren't fond of stuffing animals or antlers!

Two of us chose the fish stew and one chose the salmon steak. The salmon steak came with fresh broccoli, a baby leek, samphire and a creamy caper sauce.... More

Our visit to the F&G was during the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway's autumn gala, and it can often be bustling with people. Despite being busy, there's space to ensure everyone's comfortably seated and the staff are attentive. The food is EXCELLENT and ticks all the boxes. Definitely going back.

To die for Steak with exceptional trimmings and a pepper sauce for me and delicious linguine in a cream, ham and roasted garlic sauce for Mum. More delicious home made pud. A... More

We ate at the Fox & Goose around 5 years ago and raved about it. This time we had Sunday lunch and, although it was pretty good, it was not great. They were understaffed and the beef was on the chewy side. The pork & lamb were better, but still not as good as we remember. Maybe just go for... More
