We last visited Vecchio Moro 5 years ago, we thought we'd return to see if the pizza was still as good. I'm pleased to report we were not disappointed. Very reasonably priced and a good choice. As before, full of locals having a good time. Think it's a place wel'll keep returning to when we're in Le Marche. Definitely worth... More

This is a must from families to couples to lone travellers to groups. There is something for everyone! The food is amazing... I would recommend the sliced beef with Aceto balsamica, my husband adores the vulcano pizza, my daughters fav is grilled mixed lamb and pork with insalata misti and our boys loved the crostini misti and mozzarella sticks, pasta... We love Il Vecchio Moro, the food is simple and honest and very delicious. Fantastic value huge and excellent pizza and terrific Sunday lunches. Child-friendly establishment with swings at the bottom of the garden along with some entertaining goats. A family restaurant with charming owners who speak a little English. Great location close to the lake. Highly recommended.

We were staying nearby so visited on a number of occasions for both lunch and dinner. Pizzas in the evening are a must and the menu is extensive. The pasta dishes are good too. Family run from what we could gather, the place was popular with tourists and locals. Watch out for the flies in the evening, as you can... More

Simple and flavorful Marche cooking in a nice setting on the edge of lake San Ruffino. Tagliatelle w truffles (local), and pizza from the wood fired oven - one of best meals over 2 weeks in all of Marche.

Just spent an evening at the Vecchio Moro. Felt really welcomed and made to feel at home by the staff. Despite speaking no Italian we were not treated any differently than all the locals, of whom there were many. Food was delicious, tantalisingly fresh, homemade and plenty of it. Wine and beer so well priced and all in all a... More

We ate 2 times at Vechio Moro,it may look a bit shabby but the food is good. The very descent housewine for 1 euro/25 cl is just an example of the great price you pay for good quality food and drinks.Don't bother going anywhere else.
