Some friends recommended that we try The Red Hart for a bite to eat while we were in the locality. It's a great little country pub with a good car park and well set up for either a meal or real ales. Glad to see our favourite Otter brewery well represented on the bar. The lunch menu was varied and... More

We where stuck for a place that could seat a medium group and we stumbled onto this place as we explored the area. It was a small place but they fitted us in and we had a splendid meal served but a friendly and dedicated staff who genuinely seems to want to make us enjoy our stay.

Went with family for Sunday Lunch. Excellent food and good size portions. Beef was cooked just right. Nice to see lots of vegetables as well. Puddings were good as well. Always a good selection of real ales on offer

Brought an old friend here who came up from Wales for the day.Very glad I chose here as access was easy and the atmosphere and food were first class. We both enjoyed our meal and thought the combined coffee and sweet were a great idea to end the meal.

Four of us tried this pub on a recomendation. Whilst nothing really wrong we found it to be very avaerage but it did attract lots of people on a Saturday night. I would not return as there a far nicer pubs in the area.

Found this pub by chance when on the way to visit a relative. Saw the sign off the main road and gave it a chance. Boy were we glad that we did! My expectations for pub food are not high. I've been dragged into the chains like Sizzler and Witherspoons and the food is unhealthy and for vegetarians, usually awful... More

Great menu, excellent food and friendly staff. The vegetarian options are as good as the rest of the menu. We had both lunch and dinner here and were impressed each time. Feels like a real English country pub with an open fire, nice local ales and very well priced.

A really warm welcome, followed by a lovely lunch. My husband & I chose the hot sandwiches - great ingredients & made with real care. Staff were so friendly & real ales very moreish. We were even tempted by the desserts - we had done quite a long walk earlier with our dog so didn't feel too guilty. Again what... More
