I had perfect eggs benedict and a glass of warm apple and ginger. Pure bliss. An excellent brunch in convivial surroundings with a very well behaved Oscar in attendance.

We booked in advance the upstairs room which seats 16 people for my husbands surprise 60th birthday celebration. We were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic laid up table with sofas dotted around the room and the gentle music playing in the background. The staff were so helpful and polite nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and enjoyed... More

We had afternoon tea for 2 and it was soooo good, you can tell it's a hotspot and we were lucky to get in as we didn't book a table, but staff were very accommodating. Scones were lovely.

Called here after attending the Harts Barn Cookery School. If you are going at lunch time you will need to book a table in advance. Its not a big place inside, very quaint friendly staff and watch out for the resident dog walking about. The food was good and tasty, all freshly prepared.

Always very busy, advise to book, everything on the main menu is labelled gluten free clearly. Ordered gluten free afternoon tea which consists of plate of sandwiches, scone, butter and jam, and a large piece of cake, was assured everything was made on separate boards and utensils. Food was excellent and generous portions. Highly recommend

Myself, my partner and his brother decided to pop here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We didn't expect much but were very pleasantly surprised! The waitresses were pleasant and attentive. We had milkshakes, sandwiches and cod fishcakes. The food was plentiful, fresh, great, locally sourced ingredients and delicious. We can vouch for the locality of the food as we... More

The tearoom itself is very good, with efficient service, lots of choice, nice food and good drinks. All at a reasonable price and served on wonderfully old crockery, it's like tea at your grandmothers. Some of the outside tables are a bit wonky. It is set back and is amongst a number of bric-a-brac shops and craft shops that may... More

An impulse visit, great tea and coffee, a cheese scone so light it nearly floated away and a homemade coffee and walnut cake which was lovely. We will defiantly be back for their breakfast.
