L’Ó is a restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star from 2013, a space born with the will of wanting to make clients enjoy an experience with all senses. Suggestive and daring recipes at the service of traditional flavours and ingredients. Fusion of modernity and tradition.

We are always trying to discover new and interesting food experiences, something that is achieved to perfection at L'Ó. Its setting is opposite the Benedictine monastery of Sant Benet (dating back to the year 960) and next to the prestigious Fundación Alicia (ALI-mentación y cien-CIA), a research centre dedicated to food and science, the aim of which is to make us eat more healthily.Located inside the Món Sant Benet hotel and under the baton of chef Ivan Margalef, the restaurant focuses on cuisine that uses locally sourced organic ingredients in innovative contemporary dishes that showcase the surrounding area in its best possible light. The à la carte is well complemented by enticing set menus, both with a wine pairing option: one concise menu called “Un Paseo por Sant Benet”; the other a longer version called “El Camino de Sant Benet”.

There’s good, great, next-level, and then there’s L’O - absolutely amazing food and experience. Our meal was a thoughtfully curated culinary adventure, with each chapter of the meal building on a story, some of which were earthy and others resembling a fairy tale. What we paid for two (with wine) was less than what I would have expected per person in major cities around the world. The location requires a car or pre booked tour, but is worth the trip. We had a walk through the grounds, which include the farm, monastery and other historical features.
Something to consider: visit Montserrat and L’O on the same one day excursion. We did lunch at L’O and had a short drive and wonderful visit to Montserrat after.
Added bonus: they have a free EV charger in the parking lot.

Waiters were present, nice and welcoming. Charming atmosphere and nice view. Excellent food quality. Creative dishes, tasty, local products, amazing association... Wines were so good ! Explanations of the dishes and wines clear and inviting.
Of course a 1 star restaurant is a little expensive and not for everyday but we enjoyed every minute of the experience and will get back soon

Our evening was truly wonderful. The tasting menu with pairing offered a succession of delicious dishes, authentic works of culinary art. To highlight the selection of wines, which was truly impressive.
The attention of the staff was exceptional thanks to Sara, Miriam and Marisa. The setting and its atmosphere added a magical touch to this unique dining experience. In short, an essential destination for food lovers looking for a first-class culinary experience.

The place is spacious and elegant. The correct service.
The food is not up to what is expected from a Michelin star, bland dishes and the only one worth highlighting is one that is made in front of the table with cheese and liquid nitrogen. Of the rest, we didn't like the pumpkin dish and the fig and vanilla dessert at all.

Very good Michelin restaurant. Excellent service and spectacular cuisine. We recommend a long tasting menu. We have tried different dishes. Of course, it is very bad that the wait staff in a restaurant like this did not lower the tone of voice at one of the tables, where a large group was eating. They should have a private room or notify before booking.

Por otro lado, lamentamos que se sintieran incómodos al compartir sala con un grupo, al no ser uno demasiado grande, consideramos que pueden convivir con reservas individuales sin problema. Recordamos ese día y el personal hizo lo posible para que todos los comensales se sintieran a gusto durante el servicio. Sentimos que no lo percibiera así.

Beautiful place with beautiful views of nature. Exquisite food, several dishes to taste, very varied and with new and seasonal flavors. Quality and proximity product. The service a 10! Marissa, very attentive and charming, Miriam and Edu too, all three very professional, make you spend an unbeatable evening. We will repeat without a doubt!!

Visiting family and friends we stayed in Mon Sant Benet des Bages, which presented the perfect opportunity to eat at their one Michelin starred restaurant L’O. Whilst the restaurant is part of the hotel, it would be a grave mistake to call this a ‘hotel restaurant’, such is the reputation and class of this gourmet temple.
We so enjoyed our evening and dinner there with highly inventive dishes, wonderfully attentive and hospitable staff, and some gorgeous local wines. It is a Michelin star restaurant after all, but it exceeded our expectations and delivered a sparkling gastronomic experience. The Chef made his rounds during the course of the evening, and was so clearly pleased how much we loved his food. Highly recommended, and definitely worth it, even if you happen to come from afar.

Absolutely amazing. Right from the start we were totally gobsmacked in more ways than one. The service is impeccable, the food stunning, the drama and theatre amazing. You can choose menu items, or they offer degustation with or without wine flight. We did the whole thing with wine and it was a delight that I will remember for a long while. How they even did some things is a mystery - you have to try this!
PS Very busy - need to reserve. Hotel does do packages with room etc., and well worth it.

Yes friends this is a time that you be difficult to forgetting,come to do a selection menus is a gift for your senses, simple and full of flavors is like a short symphony going to the top every course.
