Embracing the cactus culture while in Penghu is a must! My first cactus venture was the cactus millecrepe. It was served chilled & it was satisfyingly sweet. Bonus** this traditional dessert shop is on one of the oldest streets in Penghu.

We went there for third times and finally got to taste special flavor of cactus Mille crepe but so disappointed for its lack of flavor. Maybe cheese cake will be more suitable for who like creamy.

We had the cactus, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate cake. I have to say the chocolate cake was exceptional!

I admire this souvenir snack shop which combines local and unique taste successfully. Shop is just located at old Magong city central, close to the Penghu oldest temple as well, very easy to find it. People visit here shall have a look and taste some,...you won't be regret!More

We stumbled upon this bakery in the old town area, there is no english signboard but you'll easily find it with your nose - just follow the wonderful aroma of baked goods. There is only a large table in the store, so don't expect to...hang around or chill here. Either you take-out or probably share a table if there are other patrons. If I recall correctly they don't sell any beverages for dine in. The first time we were here we tried the cactus mille crepe and the peach mousse sponge cake. The mousse sponge was amazing, just the right amount of sweetness and oh so light! The seafood tart needs to be pre-ordered, which we did and went back the second day just to sample 2 small pieces. It was definitely one of the best savory tarts I had in a long time. I can see why these babies are sold out on a daily basis!More
