Super staff.... lovely food...... huge portions..... make sure you are hungry...... was specifically asked after our meal how everything was which was very nice........ decor needs a little updating..... lovely riverside setting with tables outside to enjoy a drink. Have been going to this pub for years ,absolutely fantastic staff and food. I would recommend to anyone perfect views as well, recommend trying the hand made burgers. One of the few pubs left that isn't a deep fried pie and pint chain !!! Great...More

Absolutely first class beer - the HSB for myself was outstanding, the London Pride for my partner Linda was superb. Been to many pubs in Hampshire - but for real ale - this is the best we have found - visit date was 1st August...More

The HSB beer tastes like it should do at this pub. Apparently the barman cleans his pipes every week.

Called in mid week for a light lunch,not very busy with it appears only two staff on duty.Orgered a selection of light options from the Riverside menu.Waited ages for the items which came in part,the the last 2 items appeared when rest of meals finished.Food...More
