Great menu with so much choice. Delicious, well portioned plates. Plus vegan desserts! Service also exceptional, would highly recommend.

Had a lovely time catching up with a friend. Sea Bass was gorgeous as was the Eton Mess. The pub is fantastic after being renovated. Will definitely be back. Staff were great too.

Arrive in the outside area for a few drinks, greeted by a team member told if we want drinks to make our way inside. Arrived inside, not greeted… asked a team member if we could have a drink in which we got told to go...back outside… communication very poor! Then we’re told to wait for a supervisor? Why? all we wanted was drinks, waiting 10 minutes no sign of the supervisor so left! Very poor service!More

We were a table of 7 to celebrate a couple of birthdays. From start to finish the service was fantastic and the food was fabulous. Our 2 waiters couldn’t have been more helpful. We sat in the covered outdoor area and even though it was...raining we were dry and warm. Top marks!More

Today we celebrated my children’s christening and had booked a table for 25 at the Horse and Jockey. Ok had liaised with the team and had prebooked meals for everyone. We were given the area at the top of the new outside area and it...was perfect! It felt like a private room, but out in the open which made all of our family feel very safe. Our children were able to play in that area and it felt enclosed enough that they could run around without getting in other guests ways. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. I have had several family members contact me this evening to compliment the food. The manager was so organized and friendly. The team were polite, and very helpful. One member of staff offered to take a group photo for us and was very patient with all 25 of us! She captured such a lovely photo. The cake we’d brought with us was looked after and brought out when we wanted along with cake knife and napkins, and it was such good value for money. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family. We cannot fault it. Thank you so much! You deserve everyone of those 5 stars!More

What an amazing place to eat. Had some fabulous fresh food here. Service was fantastic, with really helpful and polite team looking after us. I took my daughter for her 11th birthday and our server made her feel really special and appreciated. My daughter had...a beautiful Spaghetti Carbonara, which she loved and she's already asking to go back here. Will definitely be back as the food is phenomenal and the outside dining area was a superb touch.More

The pub looks very nice and the outside covered eating area is large and well ventilated. Some things aren’t quite right however. The menu says Sunday menu with ‘daily specials - ask what they are’ ; there weren’t any. The Sunday menu has a tapas...section which is only available Monday to Friday. There was no on tap cider available. The (very polite) waiting staff didn’t seem sure what veg came with the Sunday roast. The food was warm, but not hot. All small issues but when put together in one visit made me think this place could be excellent but is a little lackingMore

I ordered lasagne and it was served with no meat in. Nice taste but meatless. I asked a girl if they had given vegetarian by mistake and she went to ask but never returned. When we paid the bill I asked again if it was...vegetarian and she said oh no it was definitely meat. Well they missed it out! Very disappointed as 1st time out in over a year. 😣😣😣😣More
