Great for lunch or dinner, after a winery tour or visit to the vineyard’s cellar door shop and tasting rooms. Comprehensive Thai and European menus. You can have a tasty snack, pizza, or something more substantial. We particularly enjoyed the French bistro-style mains, including the...Coq au Vin. Vineyard wines are available by the glass so that you can do your own food and wine matching. Excellent. Would return.More

We have a weekend place close by Gran Monte. We liked the food there but about a year ago the quality went down and we stopped going to Vin Cotto. Yesterday we wanted to give it a try with some friends again and ordered Thai...- and international food. Thai dishes were not good and even our Thai friends said they haven’t eaten so bad since long time. Also the pasta and Pizza was nothing special. Only good point to mention was the Rose Wine from their on yard. For food, we will not return anymore. Many much better places around in Khao YaiMore

We went there for lunch. The place is very nice especially is you can seat outside. The food was excellent - we did enjoyed it. Maybe the deep fried squid lacked salt, but this is a subjective evaluation. First class desserts. All very nicely priced....Worth your while. Service should be improved. To get some salt I had to get it myself. Overall a very positive experience somewhat tainted by service.More

After our vineyard tour, we had a sumptuous dinner set at VinCotto. The food was tasty and a good portion too. They are accomodative to my husband needs providing vegetarian dishes for him.

VinCotto has a nice selection of food with European and Thai cuisines well represented. We had a good Caesar salad, outstanding salami pizza and a large serving of deep fried calamari, shrimp and onion rings. All the dishes were tasty with the thin but chewy...pizza crust a real highlight. But dispute the fine food it was not an enjoyable meal as the service was non-existent. When we sat down it took forever to be acknowledged and receive menus. We ordered and when the food finally arrived we still did not have place settings. During the meal we needed additional utensils and we could not get anyone’s attention and final we had to look for and flag down someone to get our bill. Maybe they were in training, but they the entire meal it was like that did not know we were there.More

Our family of 9 visited this restaurant on a Monday (our bad for visiting on a weekday when the chef is off, and staff did not inform us). Ordered 5 western food and 3 Thai food (Green Curry, Fried Rice and Rice with Prawn Paste)....Green Curry was overly salty, fried rice has coconut oil taste, and prawn paste rice - Road side store taste much better. Decided to go to the vineyard to try some wine but ended up going to the restaurant. The service was good and friendly the food however was not great. My salmon was overcooked and felt like it had been deep fried. However, my girlfriends food...was good (rack of lamb), hence the 4 star because as I say the service was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there but if you do try the restaurant and just avoid the salmon.More

We stayed at the winery guesthouse for two nights and had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Not only they make the best wine in the region, the food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. Our orders came quickly and the staff...was very accommodating to the children's special requests. And the best part is that our dog was always welcomed in the patio area! Highly recommended whenever visiting Khao Yai!More

An attractive restaurant in a beautiful vineyard setting (a pity it does not actually overlook the vines). The food, as you would expect, is Thai/Italian fusion which work well. Whilst food presentation & service is good I cannot help feeling that their own wines could...be more imaginatively marketed. There is a wine tasting available separately at the winery, but could this not be incorporated into the menu here as well? A missed opportunity.More

Service is slow and rude. We arrived at 12.30pm after our wine tour. We had pre-booked our meal via the website weeks before. We were shown our table which was a booth seat and requested for chairs instead. They refused to accommodate enough though there...were other tables available. We were seated for 30 mins without any food nor asked to look at the wine list. I took the wine list form the counter myself and order two glasses. At 1pm, our soups finally arrived. At 1.15pm, we asked for our mains to be served and to take away our deserts as we had another appointment. An adjacent table of 3 who had arrived after us around 12.40pm finished their meal and left at 1.30pm just as our mains arrived. I ordered the Lamb Shank with Red Wine. The food is average and nothing to shout about. The creme brulee lacked the caramelization on the top and clearly left on the counter for a while..More

The environment (not the ambience) is nice and more upmarket than PB while the portion is also large where we cannot finish both our meals. The salmon was however under cooked with a portion of it uncooked. This is probably due to the salmon slice...too thick but an experienced chef should be able to gauge.More

Lovely hosts who remember their returning guests. A great place to stop if you are in the area.More
