Makes great play of Morse connection, Ate in the Morse room, laden with photos. Food and service, pleasant without frills. Prices reasonable. Great location if Canal fan, with nice beer garden at rear.

Excellent meal for all nine of the Palmer family. Thanks John for adjusting our numbers up from original booking. Good food at reasonable prices. Nice happy staff in a good old pub environment.

11 of us went for dinner.. For a 12:30 service. 10 people had the Sunday carvery and I had Lamb shank. Delicious food, attentive service, extreamly friendly and eelcimed feedback. Very competitive price for Carvery our guests said they would be paying another £5 more....More

It has a fully enclosed garden, so no danger from nearby canal. Its Child friendly, mine are too old now but kids there seemed very happy and were treat well. it has a web site just serach for the Boat Inn Thrupp as links... More
