A place where you go for the experience, the food is great, the wine is really good and you go there to experience something different. The only criticism is they need to change the menu because we have been twice and ate the same things twice

You can eat very well in this place, but that would painfully hit your wallet. OK, you find a Michelin star, but, to my humble opinion, you can find equally good food and service in restaurants not far away. The place is generally full and hence rather noisy.

For the last 8 years my wife and I had the pleasure of tasting the creative cuisine of Chef Jean Chauvel several times. Whenever in Paris, we had to make reservations @ Les Magnolias. Unfortunately, Mr. Chauvel and his wife are no longer the owners of Les Magnolias. I tried the new chef's menu in October and, of course, there... More

It was a delight to find a Michelin starred restaurant in the suburbs, headed by Chef Jean Chauvel. The chef's degustation menu was good value for 98euro. Too bad I had to spoil my appetite by eating a Nutella crepe too near to dinner time!

Locals recommended Les Magnolias to my husband and I. It is approximately 30 minutes drive from the city and costs about €40 in a taxi to get there but is well worth it. The presentation of the food and how we ate and drank it was truly memorable. It will be a talking point for my husband and I for... More

We have been going to Les Magnolias for at least 8 years. Every trip is full of delicious plates, surprises and joy. For instance, last night's lamb was served with a leaf of "garlic of the bears", which is wonderful and very seasonal. The macaroon with mustard was served on the side as was their delicious mashed potatoes. If one... More

We had lunch during the week. Food was good but not incredible. The best was a "veloute of foie gras" that you eat with a straw. At the end, the waiter made a mistake on my bill. He put four menus also we were only three.

My wife and I have been to Les Magnolias at least once a year since 2007. It is still one of the favorite restaurants in Paris. However, looking back we agree the food (and its presentation) has lot of its magic. We remember the days that the amouse bouche was outstanding. The menu items were described in a poetic way...
